Having practiced medicine for 25 years and now as a Medical Practice Administrator and Consultant, I really tried to be fair and give this place a second chance but I am afraid, I cannot recommend anyone go here. I have to have a procedure done every 3 months. Recently, I woke up on the operating room table screaming in pain. This should never happen but I was told the surgeon would be done soon and try to get through it. Silly me, I went back and gave them a second try. This time I was stuck in a bed for 3 hours waiting for my case. I kept telling the nurse that I could not lay there it would put my frail back Into spasm. She ignored me! I finally asked for the charge nurse. They got me Tylenol. Are you kidding me, at that point my pain was a 8/10 and would last for a week. As I prepared to return for my three month procedure, I recently called the Nurse Manager, Brenda Carpenter, to remind her that I needed to be first case of the day for my surgeon as I cannot lay on a stretcher for hours as my back will not tolerate it. Rather than return my call, take responsibility for the errors they made, she called my surgeon and told her that I was not welcome back! What kind of patient care or customer service is that? It is horrible, I know this is what I do for a living, assess medical practices and fix them. I hope Thomas Weibel CEO of BSC and Ms. Carpenter read this review and it is a wake up call for them. They are lucky I did not report them to the state and seek damages for the first incidence. I could have done both!DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, TELL YOUR SURGEON YOU WANT TO GO TO A REAL SURGICAL CENTER NOT THE BRIGHTON SURGICAL CENTER!

I made an appointment which was 6weeks out, I showed up for the appointment and they told me they had cancelled it, and no I was not informed. So, I made another appointment but this time I called the day of my new appointment to confirm and again they said they had cancelled it and again I was not informed. I will never call them again for anything.
Little wait and they were not good about the follow up. When glasses came in - no phone call. I knew I had to contact. But not happy that they don't keep up on things that come in. Friendly
Hi, I just had my first experience with cataract surgery today and want to commend the Doctor's, nurses and all personal at the Brighton Surgery Center. I would definitely give more than 5 stars if I could. The surgery went well due to the knowledge of the people involved and professionalism with the way each person carried out their particular part of the operation. The team work was smoothly and accurately carried out and gave a feeling of safety and calmness. Thanks for such caring and knowledge. Sincerely, Gloria LaPaglia.
VERY rude staff. I can't say anything about the service because as soon as I walked in it was as though I was a bother. Empty store so it wasn't because they were busy. I was going to make an appointment, but just walked out in disgust.
I live close to Brighton Vision so I decided to stop in to see if they would adjust my glasses (basically just bend the arm pieces to fit over my ears better). I asked if they could adjust them and the lady at the desk looked over at an older gentlemen, who I assumed was the eye doctor. He said they don't normally adjust glasses that were not purchased there but that he would take a look after he finished with the customer sitting in front of him. I browsed around while I waited. Finally he had me sit at the table in front of him (and he was quite the grump I might add) and looked at my glasses and then said he couldn't do it. He said if it was something minor he might have (hello...bending the ear pieces sounds pretty easy to me!) I then said I could pay him and he still said no. So he had me wait there to tell me what he already knew. I have had my glasses adjusted at other well known vision centers without a problem and I expected the same from this place, but that was definitely not the service I received. I will never go back there, nor will I recommend them. It is no wonder they only had one customer in their store. Lousy customer service!
