If you rent from them you will be treated as if they are doing you a favor for the supreme privilege of renting from them. They will not answer the phone if you call; they will ignore your voice messages; they will not respond to maintenance issues (even serious ones).Please note: I lived happily here for 4 years, then every thing went down hill. The last year here was hell. I have always paid my rent on time (or early), I have made improvements at my own expense (SWP has made none), I have abided by every requirement set forth in my lease and have never caused an issue for anyone else... ever.On 8/22 I received a "we have enjoyed you as a tenant" lease renewal letter. On 8/23 I responded that I could not commit to staying while water is coming in through the roof of my apartment (pieces of the ceiling falling down); and I disputed yet another rent increase (for many reasons). Don't. Don't. DON'T. Rent from them. Awful apartments, don't fix things, rat and cockroach infested. I can't even begin to tell you how much of a headache it was living in one of their apartments for a month. I only even lived there for two weeks before moving out into a friends because I just could not take it.Do yourself a favor and please, please don't do this to yourself.
These folks are truly caring and kind and are looking out for the people in their community. They are non-profit and serve in cases of Emergency only and can be utilized 1x every 2 months. David is the volunteer at MEEK that helped me acquire food for a family in need and he spoke about truly enjoying being able to help people in need. The old address (121 Driving Park) is no longer and is all over the internet, however the CORRECT address is 2 Riverside Street on the corner of Lake Avenue. Also, they only serve specified areas of certain area codes so call to check first to make sure you or the person you are assisting is eligible based on the residency/address requirements. Horrible, horrible management. I stay at the Genesee address. They literally do the bare minimum necessary to call themselves a management company. They do nothing to quiet noisy tenants, who literally smoke weed all day and blast loud music, television and voices all night with no repurcussion. the washer machines and/or dryers are always broken, and they literally NEVER shovel snow so you can park until everyone complains. Furthermore, there is sometimes no parking available anywhere and becomes a game of musical chairs. If you don't complain everyday, you get nothing done. the only benefits are: its close to UR if you are a student maintenance, when called is timely and effective, and its cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.

Terrible. Manager was rude..extremely. my son rented thru Scott..he personally assured me the apartment was updated and the landlord would take good care of my son.I am not in the same area so I believed him.The apartment is far from updated. It's a craphole.And he has rodents...and nobody is doing anything about it.
Pass this property management company and keep looking. The rental agent told me she was going to meet me 2 times and never showed. Then the 3rd time she finally showed and had a cigarette and talked about her animals the entire time. Very unprofessional. I decided to go with Morgan properties. Super happy!!!
They are slumlords, they don't fix and charge a lot of rent for properties that are not complying with the city codes. Never ever rent from them you will regret it
