RUDE FRONT OFFICE STAFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been going to this office for years because my family goes there. I don't have to go to the doctor very often.

Everytime I go I wait minimum 30 minutes in the waiting area and almost the same for the doctor.

I have NEVER had a pleasant experience with the front office staff. They are so rude on the phone and are never able to get you in for a sick visit. What's the point? I just called this morning and the little girl was so rude Ive just decided I will never go back. She even gave me a hard time when I asked for my records. They can keep it all! They are the first impression of the office and boy do they give a terrible impression. If you can suck up the treatment they give you then Dr. Hippeard is good. Wish he move to another practive so I could continue seeing him.

I've noticed other bad reviews of the front office staff. Maybe the doctors should read them and see what others see.

Lisa Deyerle = Good, Staff = VERY bad

It is sad that I feel like looking for a new doctor just because of the receptionists at CS Family Practice. Just today I went in and was treated as if I did not even exist. The nurse did a fantastic job, but upon leaving I wondered why I was even a patient there. This would be an awesome place if they would fire the receptionist -- I think they already chose to let one go. Keep going with that attitude and get rid of the other one!!




Went to see Dr. Kelleher the other day and was astonished at how little knowledge he had. The front office was in disarray and when I asked for help the office Manager, Barbara Williams, was clueless. Apparently when the other receptionist goes to lunch she takes over, but has no clue how to run an office. Was very rude and disrespectful. As a patient who feels crummy when they come to the doctor’s office they want to be taken care of. But with uneducated doctors how would they hire educated staff. Will definitely not recommend facility to family or friends!

Scott Hippeard is an Excellent Doctor

I would have to agree with the other comments on this board. The nurses and doctors at Cave Spring Family Practice are excellent.

The receptionists are ridiculously inept. They are usually too busy carrying on personal conversations, eating, or on personal phone calls to do their jobs properly.

Office staff rude, unhelpful, unprofessional!

It's such a shame that that the doctors at CS Family Practice are excellent but I will not return there or recommend the practice due to the imcompetent office staff. Everytime I have called to make an appt or to have a nurse call me back it has NOTHING BUT A DISASTER! I was called HONEY! ""Oh, Honey, we just don't do that here. I had seen the doctor who told me to call back if I was not better within 3 days and an antibiotic would be called in. I am told by a secretary. ""Honey, we just don't do that without being seen"". I told her AGAIN that I HAD been seen................. it was an utter NIGHTMARE. An office staff member actually hung up on me! This not the first time this kind of thing has happened to me or friends of mine.
When I call to speak to a nurse, it is not acceptable that I would have to say IN DETAIL to a secretary what my private issue is. To say it's concerning birth control pills and have a secretary then say, ""Honey you have to make an appt .for that"", is not right. Then we go into a long drawn out discussion of exactly what the issue is and why I need to speak to is none of her concern. Her job is to give the nurse the message to call me about medication in a timely manner.
My advice to the doctors at CS Family Practice is to educate and train your office staff appropriately or you will continue to receive a bad name in the community.

Dr. Dyerle = Compassion

I've been going to Dr. Deyerle for 6 years and I'm thoroughly satisifed with her expertise. She has always taken the time to talk to me and answer any questions I have, and I never feel like I'm being rushed out the door. The first time I went to her was when I was bitten my a dog (on my eye!) - Dr. Deyerle told me to come in right away, and treated my eye and stitched me right up(totally beat the line at the ER haha!) - then she drove out to the office over the weekend and opened it just to take my stitches out so I didn't have to wait until Monday. That kind of personal care and attention is what made me stay.

Ignorant, narrow-minded staff and uneducated doctors.

Unless you desire to be spoken to like you are a complete idiot, or want a doctor who has to look up basic medical knowledge on his Blackberry every visit this practice is not for you! With the exception of one receptionist, I have found the staff at this practice to be entirely uncooperative and often outright abrasive. Thumbs down...way down.
