I am very disappointed with this Kroger location. Anytime I have gone to get things from their deli bakery it is not in stock or it's out of date in the refrigerated areas. Their customer service is not that great and the deli and bakery look very unclean. I think they should take time to wipe down their areas and make it look appealing to the customer.
Well, my wife and I have been using this Kroger for 15+ years. One scary bad evening. Of course all stores are only as good as their employees and sometimes you just get that one or two that can ruin your trip. One evening my wife and I were doing our weekly shopping and we once again came upon the grapes that were on sale and none there. This made the 4th week that there had been no grapes on display. We continued shopping and came to register and I went back to see if there were any there now. No!So, after we checked out I asked to see a store manager. Long story short, produce man went off and shoved grapes in my face and I shoved him back out of my face. The cops were called and my wife and I were targeted instead of the produce manager. A smart canine cop for Roanoke county who threatened to arrest us. I told him to go ahead. We had done nothing wrong. After a good 45 minutes I said do something or we leave...we left. Never returned! Don't put up with bad customer service, ever
The management appears very slack about helping those who need the electric carts for shopping. I had my cart filled with groceries but before I finished shopping the buggy ran out of battery. My husband also needed an electric buggy and his also ran out of power. There were 2 more buggies that were supposedly charged but would not move. We had to leave the cart full of groceries and I didn't finish my shopping there because the store didn't have the equipment to allow me to finish my shopping. We went to another Kroger where the store was very accommodating. This is not the first complaint my family has had with this store; my mother fell in the store when she first moved to Roanoke around September, 2010. When the manager was informed of the fall, he intimated to my mother that it was her fault and was rude to her. This store has some serious customer service issues. There is a big retirement community in this area who tend to need electric carts to shop. It would advisable to keep them working properly and not turn your back on a large population shopping in this store. The manager needs training on how to deal appropriately with people who are injured in your store and proper maintenance of equipment in his store. You need a sign on this store that says, " enter at your own risk!"
Great restaurant with family service. All of the noodle dishes are amazing and the use no MSG!
