Realize what a jewel they are

I love this place! We have taken our German Shepard there since she was 8 weeks old and only one time was I a little upset with how one person treated my girl. Not once since that time has anyone been ugly to our animals nor us. We moved to another area about 45 minutes away and went back to LCAH because of the price but still used the one close to us for emergencies and the experience at the new vets office is totally different. Lake country is just so much more open to their patients (human and animals) from their receptionist to their techs. All though I must say the vet at the new vets office was very warm and caring and knowledgable!

Friendliest vet clinic

My golden retriever drags me into the building. She loves their treats. Everybody was friendly and the veterinarian and technicians took extra time with us. My cat is not a fan but she is very nervous. When she was boarded, the cat room was separate form the dog kennel and she loved watching the wall aquarium. She was not stressed out when we picked her up after a week long stay. She was also flea free.

I'm not too sure. They seem nice enough and my mother trusts them. WE mostly go for baths for my 13 yr old cat. She has to be sedated because she is pretty vicious with the doctors. That said, after an 80 dollar bath and trim, she has come home still wet (she stays there from 8am to 5pm) , he fur is very sticky and spiked, they shave her too close and scratch her skin so badly that we have to go back and BUY antibiotics, her eyes are all jelled up with petroleum jelly (?), she doesn't smell nice. They do a poor job considering my cat is pretty much asleep she can't fight or put up resistance.

I have called once saying that I thought my cat was choking (she was gasping) and guess what? they told me I could come in but who knows how long i'd have to wait! You'd think they have some sort of priority when it comes to walkins (oh this dog just needs a nail trim but this this animal has been hit by a car so let's see this one first).

One of the receptionists is rather short/rude as well.
