Nutritional Counseling
This multidisciplinary program is designed to assist participants on the road to developing a healthier lifestyle. Monday or Wednesday evening classes include nutrition counseling and activity education in a group support setting. A physicianâ€™s referral and participation in the Healthy Weight classes (see class description) are required prior to starting Lighten Up. After receiving a referral, participants will be contacted by mail with class dates and information.

Rheumatologists complete three years of extra training after medical school with a residency in either internal medicine or pediatrics. Some receive training in both.
