Cactus Cantina

Called in to Cactus Cantina 30 min. before I left from work and placed an order to be picked up on my way home. I was told no problem, it'll be ready. Of course, it wasn't ready when I got there. 10 min. into waiting, another customer walked in, place a "to go" order and received it within 7 min., as I still sit and wait for my phone-in order. Waitress went to ask the cook a time frame, and he responded, "soon". Well, 25 min. later, I got my phone order. I wasn't to happy, but checked my order, (or so I thought), and drove off. Half way home, I realized they forgot my salad! Drove all the way back. I asked to speak to the Manager. The "supposed" Manager came to the front, as I explained the situation. She said, "sorry", as I stated I wanted my money back because I wasn't going to wait another 25 min. for the salad they forgot. I also explained, had the waitress spent more time focussing on her job, instead of talking and giggling in the back, I would have my salad! Needless to say, this wasn't a cheap "to go" meal, it was $51.00! I got home 45 min. later than usual, with no dinner! I definitely WILL NOT go back, and WILL NOT recommend this place to friends and family. With today's economy, you would think they would be a little more conscientious of their customers and the way they treat them!!! NOPE!

This is one fantastic place to eat, Met the owner Glenn and he was a very friendly and outgoing owner, not stuffy at all like your chain restruants. The place is clean and has great prices. I was impressed with the servers however the hostess we had named Ashley was outstanding, friendly, always smiling and made us feel like we were at home in the place. The servers were efficent, fast and also very friendly. This is a great place for the entire family or just a place to stop off and have a beer. I rate it a ten plus on my scale. In this same shopping center,are two other restruants I wont say who they are however the are not worth your time so stay away. try it you will like it.
