All it takes is a little preparation to get your car winter-ready and to keep from getting into an icy situation.
It’s time to bring long sleeves and long pants out of storage, prep your home and car, and contact the cool weather home/yard contractors.
I'm going to give you an in-depth review to help make your final decision to come to Mission Bell Motorworks and get your car worked on here: I was looking for a car shop to add new rotors and break pads for my 2011 Infiniti M37s for a while and stumbled on Mission Bell Motorworks on Yelp. I called up the shop and asked for a quote and Rob pretty sold me saying that he does real good, genuine work, and will get the job right. So I set up an appointment with them and right when I got to the shop he took the time to show me his certifications of being a certified BMW Independent Service shop. The waiting room is very cosy and offers free wifi so the wait will be worth your while, and also has Netflix on his large flat screen. While waiting for my car I was watching Breaking Bad lol. But before he started working on my car, he had to ask for authorization and the contract for my car. He explained to me that the work he does will be done right and treat my car like his own and not treated like a random car to get the job done quickly. The price we talked about were really solid for the amount of work he did. He will not cheat you on the price, he really gives you the best deal. The service I got was a complete front and rear rotor and brake change, complete brake flush, complete power steering fluid, and complete coolant flush. For the quality of the work and genuineness of his word, I highly and truly recommend this place to get your car worked on. Even though they are BMW serviced, I brought my Infiniti because I knew he was trust worthy and did he prove me right. My car pretty much feels like brand new, and the fluids look clean as a whistle! I can't thank this place enough for doing thequality work they do.So if your looking for an automative shop, Mission Bell Motorworks is the place to go to. I back this shop 100% of the way!
back several months ago I had a blow out on my trailer and all tire shops were closed and there was a guy who had tattoos on his neck and at first I was thinking I am in a bind this guy could not help me because they were burglarized before this and someone stole all their equipment, This guy told me where other tire shops were however they were all closed and no one could help me. There was a motorcycle shop on the opposite corner and saw I was in a bind and tried selling me a tire for 90 which maybe was worth 20? they saw my situation and tried taking advantage of it however this nice guy with the tattoo on his neck said don't pay it yet lets see if it fits anyways it did not fit so then he asked someone who came and brought me a tire for half the cost and then we realized another tire was about to blow and he put the other one on! Never judge a book by its cover this guy was an honest and a blessing to me and I am so grateful and I am writing this several months after this happen maybe 6 months ago? I just still think of your generosity and want to say thank you (what ever your name was from the bottom of our families heart!)
All difficult qualities to find among mechanics! We bought a used 1999 Dodge Cummins Deisel and took it to A Import Specialist for a complete maintenance and safety check. We were thinking it was probably going to need some other things done as well. Every time you take your car to the mechanic they always tell you you need all of these additional things done as well. The mechanic was very honest with us. He didn't fabricate things that weren't necessary. We have never had a mechanic tell us something wasn't necessary and we didn't need to spend money we were willing to spend! The truck runs so strong now and we gained mpg's! They gave us a really good deal, quality work, honest advice, and delivered the truck when promised. We were very happy with our experience and have brought more vehicles to them since. It's such a relief to finally have a mechanic we can trust!
This place is nothing short of amazing! Took my E90 in for an oil pan gasket leak and I was not disappointed. I was super close to taking my car to a BMW dealership to get the repair done but after reading all of Mission Bell Motorwork's reviews and speaking to Ricardo multiple times over the phone, his shop won me over. He is a very knowledgeable and persistent person which led me to believe he was going to deliver quality work. And that is exactly what he did. Ricardo has a great reputation- an average 5 star rating across the board, and it is well earned. His customer service is great and you can tell that he's passionate about what he does-which is something I highly respect. His prices are great and he over delivers! What more could you want? Extremely appreciative of Ricardo, I'll definitely come back to him for ANY work I need done on my BMW.
This shop is the best in the inland empire. I currently own a 2009 bmw 335i, I started having problems with the car overheating, due to a bad water pump. I took the car to bmw of riverside, but they didn't have any openings to get my car in, plus the service department was closed. Luckily i found Mission Bell Motorworks, Which was the only shop open on a Sunday. And let me tell you, i will be back for any future service or repair. He had my car done the next day. Ricardo is a BMW certified mechanic with all his certifications on the wall to prove, and knows exactly what he's doing. Im very happy with the service. He used nothing but original parts, for half the price of what i would of paid at BMW. I recommend this shop to anyone looking for any service or repair, this is the place to go.
I highly recommend Mission Bell Motorworks to anyone in the inland empire. The honesty and high level of integrity that Ricardo demonstrated in the initial conversation about my 2006 325i BMW is like no other. I came in because I was having battery problems, Ricardo put me at ease. He not only inspected my battery, but he did a mini inspection on my car. He took the time to show me, other visible repairs that need to be done. I really appreciate a Repair shop that not only cares about making money, but really cares about it's customers best interest. If you are looking for a BMW repair shop that will get the job done and truly cares about your best interest, this is the place to come. You will not be disappointed!
My family has been coming here since, well, I don't even know when. The service here has ALWAYS been fantastic. Each of the mechanics' knowledge and ability is out of this world. Not only do they work well, but they actually care about ethics. With as many businesses willing to screw with your money, this is NOT one of them. I repeat: this is NOT one of them. :) Bruce runs a fantastic shop! I recommend this car shop to anyone and everyone who needs simple maintenance, tune ups, whatever. They are also very knowledgable about outside resources, such as other shops and when places such as Auto Zone have deals. I'm always so pleased when I come here.
After my first time at mission bell motor works, I'm going to bring my 07 335i here from now on. I was being helped by Ricardo, he's a BMW certified mechanic. He really knows his bimmers, this was important to me as a customer because I also have a passion for BMW and wanted to find a mechanic I could trust with mine. The best things about this place is that he used all authentic BMW parts and Ricardo does work that exceeds the quality of the dealership, so you don't have to worry about authenticity or sub par work. This place is great for people looking for an alternative to the way too pricey dealership.
I have a newer 535I. My car was having problems turning on...I took it down to Mission Bell Motorworks. They diagnosed it quickly and turned out it was my fuel pump. Their prices were fair and I was very happy with their work. I usually go to Murrieta BMW for service but with financial situations I decided to give MBM a try. The shop is BMW certified and the technicians are highly experienced. I can honestly say that after the service they provided there is no need for me to ever go back to the dealer and pay their outrageous prices. I am very happy and I wil go back to MBM whenever my car needs service.
I found this shop threw Yelp, which had good reviews and was also near by my house. The owner, Ricardo help me brake down what was needed to be fix in order for my car to run smoothly again, which is BMW 530i. I felt comfortable, and he didn't pressure me into fixing parts that didn't needed to be fix. After we discussed about my car, he took his time and showed me his diplomas and pervious shops he work at BMW. The end result was fantastic the car runs perfect because of him. So for any one that is looking for a honest automative shop, and genuine BMW mechanic come down to Mission Bell Motorworks!!
There are more than 700,000 auto service technicians and mechanics in the U.S. Finding the right one to repair a dent in your car door or fix an engine that won't start can be overwhelming, especially when it's an emergency. Review a few important facts about auto repair professionals and what you can do to get the best possible mechanic working on your vehicle's issues for a fair price.
Looking For Reliability
Unlike home repair services that evaluate a property, meet with homeowners and have time to prepare before their physical work begins, auto repair businesses are often asked to make fixes on the spot. If you come into a garage with a tire issue, the expectation is the mechanic will know how to correct that problem quickly.
That is why reliability is so vital when searching for a trusted auto repair shop. It may take going to several different mechanics before you find one you are truly comfortable with. Pose questions to this professional to find out what approach they will take to repair your car or what alternatives are available. Shopping around also gives you the best opportunity to find the cheapest rate or the fastest service, as some garages may be backed up with other vehicles that need repair first.
A recommended way to locate a trustworthy auto repair professional is to seek out customer reviews. Online sites offer honest opinions from real customers who have used a business. Read through this feedback to learn how a business operates and what you can expect if you were to take your vehicle there. Look for reviews about how quick maintenance was completed and if prices were fair. By learning what other people have said about a garage, you can gain a better idea if it's the right place to go when you have a car problem in need of fixing.
It can be difficult to know which automotive problems are serious enough to require expert assistance. A ripped seat cushion or broken radio don't involve safety and will not warrant enough of a problem that going into a garage is required. However, setbacks with brakes, lights and other parts that are vital to the safety of your car's driver and passengers, as well as others on the road, necessitate quick fixes. Many modern automobiles will notify drivers of an issue, in the form of a signal on the dashboard or a noise within the vehicle.
In the event of an accident, even if your vehicle does not appear to have any damage on the outside, it is generally recommended that you see a trusted auto repair professional. Internal damage may have occurred, or an important part may have been knocked out of place. Fixing these issues before driving much further can prevent further vehicle breakdowns in the future. In the case of a serious accident, a body shop can assess the problems and determine the best course of action for repairs, as well as evaluate how much they will cost.
Beyond that, regular checkups are recommended. Tires must be rotated, fluids needs to be replaced and the engine must be evaluated. After driving 25,000 miles, most auto dealers suggest having the vehicle checked out to ensure everything is running smoothly. Taking the car into the auto repair professional you trust will protect you from further problems down the road.
Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop. At the same time, be aware of mechanic scams that can impact your experience.
Preventing Trips To The Professional
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage. By handling these types of tasks on your own, you'll gain a better understanding for how your car operates and save time and money.
Along with understanding how to fix manageable vehicle issues that may arise, taking preventative measures to avoid future problems is a valuable time saver. Many problem-solving best practices are related to the seasons. Your vehicle will be in different conditions in the winter than in the summer, meaning it requires a different type of preparation.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures the vehicle will be exposed to, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check your tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
There is a common worry among many people that auto repair professionals take advantage of the general public. Because so many people are unaware of how to fix the problems in their vehicle, they are nervous of being overcharged by mechanics or worried that the improper work is being done.
While the great majority of professionals in the industry are honest, hard-working people, a few bad apples can ruin everything. You should be extra careful when first visiting a mechanic to guarantee that the price you're charged and maintenance the vehicle receives are fair.
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you are in the shop and your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill.
The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done. That way, you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
By working closely with an auto repair professional and doing some of the tune-up work on your own, you will be less likely to fall for these scams. At the same time, you'll be able to drive out with a clean and healthy vehicle, thanks to the repairs made by a trained professional.
