Riverdale Place Care & Rehab

Complete disaster! My mother in law was sent here to get physically stronger and during her time here has only been able to do a few exercises due to not being seen by the nurse practitioner for an infection. Her calls to the nurse are consistently ignored, she is told they will be in to give her meds, and or see a dr yet nobody shows up. From ants in her bed, to the first 3 days without physical therapy or her meds, to the rude staff, please go elsewhere. And forget about getting a manager on the phone. I’m convinced that position is vacant.

My mom is in this nursing facility. Riverdale Place has done a good job taking care of her. She requires constant care which my family and I could not provide. The nurses there are very caring and they tell me she is their favorite patient. They keep me updated and call when she must be taken to the hospital. They help make life easier for me and give me peace of mind.

By any definition of the word caring, you will not find it at Riverdale Place Care & Rehab. Center. I had the misfortunate experience of having my husband placed there recently. My husband was admitted after buisness hours so I never met anyone from administration, was never given a care plan or had a tour of the facility. However once there is a problem with billing, they are on the phone with you quick fast and in a hurry. My husband needed skilled nursing care however there are not many caregivers with any skills at Riverdale Place. After ten days in there facility I had to dial 911 to have my husband taken to the nearest hospital, where he went into respiratory failure. Had I not taken him to the hospital he would have laid there and died! If you care anything about your loved ones do not send them there.
