I have been ordering from Steve's Pizza Palace in River Falls, WI for over 15 years and the pizza has been great. However today I received the poorest, rudest service I have ever received from any restaurant business ever. My order was unable to be put through because an employee could not enter a credit card properly. I called back and it amazingly went through the second time with the SAME card. I complained that my hungry children would now have to wait 20min longer for our pizza. I received no suggestion at reparations just a sorry and then hung up on. When I call to ask for the manager I hear an "Oh Great!" in the background and then Immediately get told when I did wrong and how my "first" card was bad, even though they were the same cards. I was unable to get more than five words in until I would get interrupted again. When I finally get exasperated at being cut off for the third time I gave way to anger and let the F-bomb slip. I then get told that nothing will be delivered and hung up on again. So I called back to get the owners contact info, but was told by the employee that she did not know the ladies number but could take down my info. So, I ask to talk to the manager once again to ask for his name. I then hear another "oh great" and get told off again and that he is the owner (so he's a lady?) and hung up on again. I admit that me dropping the F-bomb was improper. However, it shouldn't have gotten to the point of a customer being treated so rudely and told he/she was wrong and had a bad credit card. I hope to get a hold of the real owner and hopefully talk to someone with customer service skills and politeness.
