I was impressed with Jerome Clarke's smoothness and interrelational skills (how many accountants do you know like that) however, when we had tax work done by him on taxes that were from a few years back, he let us know that we would be receiving a refund. That was back in the spring of this year. We continued to get notices that we needed to pay our taxes for this year, but Mr. Clarke had told us that they owed us and that we were to expect a refund. It is now December and we have come to find out that we are not going to be receiving a refund and actually, after 3 years, refunds are not paid back to the citizens.Mr. Clarke still got paid, and we are receiving notices on our back taxes since we have been expecting that he filed and we were receiving a refund, this entire year.I would not recommend him to anyone, I am upset to find that someone would do this and still take payment for their service when it was their goof in the first place. i go to an accountant because they re supposed to be qualified and educated in these matters.Mr. Clarke may be a wonderful person, but I am highly unimpressed and taken back by the way he does business.
