Trolley was way to hot���� Air condition Ha!Ha! RVA Trolley history was good . Love the sites . Happy and friendly lady said she also drove for Chesterfield School Bus ���� Over all have a good time.
My suit case was lost. We were on a 3 hour layover in Richmond VA. The bus was sent for cleaning; we were given boarding passes because we were returning to the same bus. We were advised to leave our personal bags on the bus. After 3 hours and when we were called to returned to the bus, the staff had loaded the bus with new passengers. the bus was loaded already. Many passengers were advised to take their belongings and board another bus. This was the worse debacle I've seen in my entire life. And don't waste your time trying to reach a supervisor, the terminal or district manager because they are on vacation 24/7, and don't return phone calls. I guess that's why everything is in such a mess. No management staff during the week days or weekends either. For four days I've tried to reach the supervisor, district manager, and terminal manager at the 42nd Street bus terminal in NYC; made several calls and visited 3 times during the day and night hours to no avail. Utterly despicable.
I have experience the worse ride ever with James river transportation the seat I purchased was a damage seat belt that poke me all the way to and from the casino.the inspector could have done a better job with inspection the bus who want to pay money for a very uncomfortable chair that cause you pain the whole entire time .here is a picture of the seat 33 ,on bus 242 on April ,30,2016.
i brought A TICKET IN ADVANCE, WAS TOLD THAT ALL I NEED WAS 20 TO CHANGE THE TICKET.ONCE I TRY TO CHANGE IT, THEY TOLD ME IT HAD TO BE THE DAY B4. SO IM OUT ALMOST 200 ,PLUS I HAD TO PAY ANOTHER 250 FOR ANOTHER. THE ATTITUDE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY HAVE SUCKS REAL BAD..mAKES YOU FEEL IT BETTER OFF RENTING A CAR OR FLYING TO WHERE YOU NEED TO GO. tHEY ARE MORE FRIENDLY THERE. oTHER TIMES THE THE GUYS BE TRYING TO DATE MY WIFE WHEN SHE TRAVEL THRU MN. THEY BETTER GET ON THERE GAME,OR CLOSE DOWN.MEGA BUS IS COMING BEHIND THEM.
Professionalism was absolutely non-existent, the staff was poorly dressed, was very rude, and showed absolute uncouth behavior toward military members deploying in support of defending our freedom. To quote Chelsea (the rudest employee) I have ever seen, "you can take a taxi...". Maybe her employer should say you can find a new job, she is definitely costing her employer business. I will be reporting them to the BBB.
This use to be a GREAT company. But No longer. When they Had the Carey Transportation contracts they had the best Chauffeurs. Cars were clean and always smelled nice, chauffeurs were friendly, helpful and professional. Limousines were fully stocked with water and candies, Now you have sloppy dressed drivers, cars smell like cigarettes and your lucky if you get a water much less someone helping you with your luggage or anyone offering personal service. GO ELSEWHERE.....HAVE become so UNPROFESSIONAL. I would not let my mother in a vehicle alone with one of their drivers now.
This is a company that just scams people out of their money, Their web pages is messed up you purchase your ticket but you can not print them out, so you have to go to the station and they can not print them so they have to re-issue your ticket for a fee of 15.00 then you get to your first stop and they do not want to honor the ticket they say it is first come first served. if you are late arriving then you must pay another 15.00 to get ticket re-issued at the next stop. I will be going to the News and posting this on Facebook. I feel since it was their fault that these fees should be waived and they should be refunded. Do not use this as a form of transportation if you have to be some where at a specific time you will not arrive on time and have extra money or you will be stuck out somewhere..... There were so many customers upset everyone got screwed somekind of way, I am not sure who implemented these rules for the company but they truly need to be fired, and the company needs to be re-organized. It is a shame that newer companies are in better order than a company that has been around for so many years. It is sad that your company has drop down to this low standard, you should be ashamed of how you have treated your customers, I am sure that you will soon closed down because the way you have treated them makes then not want to use your company ever, and I am sure I as they will spread the information around about your company....Sad day for the Greyhound Bus Company.
