I cannot say enough good things about this salon. Jerri Colyer looked at a picture of myself 8 years ago and matched the color better than perfect. I have had nothing but compliments since. The owner Ronnie and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and never rush you. I endorse this salon 100%.

Very bad experience, the owner Martha did my hair. She was rude. Her 1st question to me was why you not getting a relaxer. I responded I'm coming out out relaxers. She had the worst attitude. She was rough, left me under the dryer while she left the salon with no explanation. Finally after she roller set me, she left me under the dryer for another long period of time while she sat in the back of me looking at something on her phone. This woman took unprofessional to a whole other level. She never knew that I was a Retired Licensed Cosmetologist myself. She lost a weekly customer by her attitude and being unprofessional . I would not recommend anyone to her salon she sets the example.
Going to So Chic was the worst salon experience I've had in my life. Not only was Kira rude but provided unsanitary and unacceptable service. When I arrived, I asked for a trim and was told she didn't have the time. I sit in the chair expecting her to detangle my hair because I have natural hair. Instead of shampooing my hair and conditioning it. She decided to take a spray bottle and wet my hair and told me that she doesn't shampoo and condition for bridal trials only styles it (mind you I have a wet head at this point so getting up and leaving isn't an option). She then proceeds to blow dry my hair with all my residue from my wash and go (gels and butters) and tells me I need to wash my hair more and that it has an odor. (I'm sitting here like, well obviously I came in expecting a shampoo for my hair). She then told me how she doesn't recommend flat ironing my hair for a desired style because she thinks the humidity would damage it on the wedding day. If she properly shampooed and gave my hair a blow out or silk press it would've had body rather than wetting it with a bottle and blow drying it. I show her he styles I want and she says she thinks brides should be modern and wear their natural (Afro) hair and not wear veils (they're overdone). At this point I'm just really over the appointment and want her to get her hands out of my hair. She then attempts (failure) to put my hair in an up do. I was better off putting it and a pony tail and leaving. If you are looking for any service, I would avoid this salon - especially if you're a bride. She was so negative, rude, unsanitary and provided terrible service. I came in from out of town to have this appointment and now have to get my hair re done. I would not trust Kira with my hair if I were you.
I discovered Escada when I asked a friend whom was the best hair stylist she ever had and she told me about Ronnie. I have been a customer for several years and always have a very positive experience. This is probably the longest I have stayed with the same salon, usually a dissatisfaction with some service makes me not want to return to a salon but I cannot imagine that happening at Escada. I love the color and cut I get and prices are very reasonable. Before Escada, when my hair reached a certain length, the ends would split and I'd have to get it cut shorter, now it is quite long and in good condition. I usually see Bridget or Ronnie although judging by the work of the other stylists, I would not hesitate to see any one of them.
On 12/16 I dropped in on my favorite hair salon, " SCISSORS ". The staff are experts in all aspects of hair care. Gentlemen of my age group that may need a little color or a contemporary style, SCISSORS is the place place to go. Just minutes from any where in RICHMOND. HARRY
Girls working there concentrate on conivincing customers for more on the job they currently doing. If hair cutting then force for head massage hair color , shampooing, and all as many as they can earn from the customer, too much talkative and irritating, service is very average..
Great unisex hair/nail salon and the hairstylist are really experienced and nice. The salon is new and very modern in decor. I go to Linn and she is awesome but the other stylist seem really good too. I have been to other salons in the area to only leave fine but eventually realize how uneven my hair is after washing at home. These stylist are experts in Asian hair for sure, highly recommend.
I called two times i ask the price of a hairstyle, how they wanted the payment. When i got there the owner was on her way once she got to the shop a man was there i show him one of the pics that was on his web and in his shop he gave me a book and wanted me to pick a style out also the prices were higher. i told him what the lady i told me over the phone i got up and walked out the man follow me out. He was trying to make a deal this place looks shady STAY AWAY SHADDY TREES.
Best salon experience I ever had! Lyna is wonderful at what she does. She is up to date with the new styles and trends so I don't have to worry when I go in . She usually just tells me what to get. I always feel confident and satisfied when I leave here! Beautiful clean salon as well and very friendly staff. Go see Lyna!
Absolutely Ahhhh-mazing! Don't know why it took me so long to find this slice of heaven. Thinking about getting the membership.
