Overall
Terrible!!

What a horrible little pet store! The treatment of animals is terrible. If a reptile goes through the doors there, it seems like they slowly die away. It seems that only the fuzzy or feathered friends get any sort of attention, but the wrong advice is given most times I'm there. There is no expertise working there it is solely for profit. So if you just want to go and buy an animal, go for it...but good luck getting quality advice on how to take care of it. Make sure you do your own research and know what things to look out for because they won't even give you discounts when an animal is in bad shape and you are trying to buy it to save it. No one should have to pay full price for animals dehydrated and have any issues at all. I have watched them not say a word to people buying fish that will eat each other for the same tank. I watched a uromastyx sit in their tank for over a year...and at least six months of that time he had shed stuck to him to the point that this poor animal lost all of his back toes! Even after advice was given to them from another customer who breeds these animals on ways to try and take the shed off properly, and when researching what this person said, most other experts agree. Their rational that he was fine was that they finally sold it to someone...for full price. I bet that person either had no idea what they were getting into or had felt so bad for it that they had to try and save it. Oh and by the way...it is usually a good idea to warn people that teddy bear hamsters get this nice quality about them around 6 months of age when they get very territorial and attack each other. Not a good idea to let people think they can keep multiple hamster in the same cage (dwarfs not included in this statement). Never again will I support a store that gives no proper advice and slowly kills their animals because they don't research how to take care of them before ordering them in. Thank goodness Petsmart moved into town, at least they try and inform people correctly and at least have basic care guidelines for people, even if they are not sure themselves. If I could send authorities in to see what these poor animals go through I would, especially since I believe that some of their snakes need permits to sell...My recommendation for this store is to get a clue! Either learn about the animals you are ordering/buying to sell here or don't do it at all. Or even, listen to people when they are trying to help instead of brushing them off. How about looking up what they said and see if others agree, then maybe try it out. What could it hurt, you are killing it slowly anyway! I would love just one private pet store that I can trust with proper care and advice.

Overall
awesome pet store!!!!!

Judging by the outside of the building, you wouldn't think that there was much to this place! But when you go in theres not only one floor but two floors of awesome pet supplies! and pets!! They were very helpful and always ready to assst you if you need it! The pets that they do sell are exceptionally healthy and they are very careful with them as they take care of them until the pets new homes are found. I give this store a very huge round of applause!!!! Way to go guys!!!!!
