Giving them one star is really a stretch, and it's only because I can't rate them 0 stars. My son was abused in the toddler room under their care, and when I pulled him out, they instantly kicked my daughter out along with him and told me that she didn't have a place there because I was costing them business by warning other people. They are VERY unprofessional. One of the directors has a history of sleeping with children's dads. The 3 main directors in there are catty, petty, full of drama and talk badly about parents AND children behind their backs. They are rude and snotty. They hire high school kids with no experience or professional background to watch the children. They go through employees more often than they go through underwear. They will tell you absolutely anything to keep your paychecks coming in every month. Unfortunately I learned that the hard way and gave them one too many chances. Do NOT take your kids to PALS. Please. For their own safety.Side note: The review from Dusty B. below is from a part of the owner's family, so of course he's going to stick up for the business and point fingers at other reviews.
We found this daycare on a website and it came highly recommended...I must say that it is true to it's word. From the very first day they have been …

An AWFUL place for children to attend. They are super cheap & just want your money. Kids are always sick, there are always new employees in and out that don’t care about the kids. The kids here are mean to each other and have ZERO respect towards anyone. I’ve seen them hit and kick teachers. One of the ladies up front is completely fake, she always sounds overly cheery, however I heard her talk rudely about a parent who had a concern for her child. She thinks everyone is below her and she needs a reality check because she acts very unprofessional. Also the place is not very taken care of, there are broken fences that can easily hurt the children. They need to be reported to state due to all the dangers around the building. Also they leave high schoolers alone in class rooms with children, but according to state you have to be at least 18. Half the staff seems like they’re under 18 & still in school. I suggest finding another daycare with better quality and care!! This place deserves no stars
The Children's Village is an excellent, well-run daycare that truly cares about the kids they look after as if they were their own.
The Children's Village is amazing. We love it, and so do our children. We've recommended them to many other families in the area and they love TCV too!
The Children's Village has very convenient hours. They provide a great learning environment for my child.
**Notice that subsequent reviews are made monthly for the last six months at about the same time frame during the month. Those are not real reviews. Click on the name and notice how each person joined and reviewed a dozen things in the same month and haven't reviewed anything since.During my tour in 2015 they bragged about security, but when we were leaving I pointed out that the secure door was propped open. I put us on the wait list but never got a call. Ever. Came back in 2016 and still liked the facility so I turned in an enrollment packet but they wanted copies of social security card. I asked why and they said it was for licensing. I took the packet home and made the necessary copies. When I came back the next day they had given my spot away because I questioned their policies. This is a child-mill. They are more worried about getting paid than delivering quality service.
The teachers and the staff are amazing. This was the best child care center that I could have put my children in. I have seen some much growth with both of my children.
We heard about The Children's Village when we first moved to Richmond Hill and we loved everything we heard. Our son is doing great there and we are very happy.
Big fan of the Children's Village, I'm always notified if there is a problem or if my child is not acting well. The have great teacher that are very good with the kids.
All in all, The Children's Village is a safe learning center filled with amazing teachers and staff who's passion is to help our children grow.
