American Family Insurance - Brett Turner Agency

They aren't willing to live up to their word. Opened a claim for basement flooding and agent said everything up to the point of discovery would be covered (restoration, plumber, etc.). Found out it was surface water and AmFam still stuck us with plumber's bill for about $1000. We totally understand the exclusion and weren't upset because that's in the contract, but going back on your word is plain untrustworthy. Don't recommend picking them up at all. If they decide to fix things and make it right we'll remove our comment, but at the moment we're shopping around and looking for another provider (it'll cost way more than $1000 to them when we disappear). Nothing against Brett, but we had to deal with corporate and it's not a pleasant experience.

This is the best insurance agency to be with hands down. Brett Turner at American Family Insurance is super knowledgeable and he and his staff give amazing customer service. They have amazing rates and are super reliable.
