This inspector goes by his opinion rather than building code. He also doesn't realize that houses only have to meet the standards of the code when built. New code doesn't apply to a house that has already been inspected by the city. If houses were required to continually be modified to meet new codes, over 95% of homes would be in violation. He plugged into an outlet and the tester showed reversed polarity. The outlet was broken, a safety concern, but he didn't notice that.
