HORRIBLE PLACE!!!! HORRIBLE FOOD......Hair in food!!Well..It definitely tops the wall of Shame for Indian food....they don't know how to make Indian food...!1. Dahi papri has only chickpeas and potatoes...with a HINT of dahi and NO PAPDI.. I should have called it some cheakpeas-potato salad !!2. They gave us (2 people) only "1" broken papad(I guess we were supposed to share it)3. Horrible condiments....green chutney and red chutney were toooooo dilute...4. Malai kofta definitely did not belong to the Indian cuisine. Malai Koft is too rich in flavor, but this one felt like I was having some re-heated/curry made with bad milk!5. Aloo parantha had peas.... i guess leftover from last day...and by texture you can say it has been re-heated more than once!- funny thing was, 2 people were coming in to verify, re-verify our Order!- another funny thing, they didn't know Gobi Paratha!- another funny thing, they didn't know difference between "Namak Para" and Papdi....
Been driving past this place for years, so today, with time on my hands, I stopped in to try it.Biryani is not a dish I normally get when enjoying foods from the sub-continent. But since that is in there name, I went for the house specialty.Mutton Biryani: aka an adult lamb, goat is a flavorful meat that should work well with this spicy rice dish. The mutton is served "asian" style, small bones and all so you have to use your fingers. The flavors are good, rice correctly spiced, half boiled egg on top was a nice touch. For $8.99, you get enough rice to feed the whole table. Wish there was an option to order double- meat or something though.I also got an order of Samosas: one beef and one veggie. They were ok. If you have a rice craving, Biryani is what to get.
the nann and the goat meat are really good
I have eaten at Diced four times in the past few months. First, was during ramadaan, for an iftaar buffet, and it was most excellent. Since, I've enjoyed this wonderful food for dinner (non-buffet), a weekend buffet, and lunch (non-buffet.)The first thing that strikes you as you walk in, is the nice, clean decor. This is a good thing, as (unfortunately),it's a departure from the norm regarding desi restaurants. Clean floors, clean bathrooms, nice, open seating area. The owner is great. He'll give you wonderful, personal service without hovering. The food has been excellent each time I've gone there. Nice flavor, including decent heat. It's clear that they've sacrificed some of the heat (taste, not temperature) in order to be palatable to a wider audience, but not all of it. At the buffet, it's never dry/overcooked or left out too long. All in all, if you're looking for a good pakistani/indian place to eat and are in the Plano/Richardson/Garland/Addison area, I'd highly recommend this place.Rizwan
Omg!!! Finally a restaurant in Dallas that has everything you could possibly want. I have been to this place twice. Ordered chicken tikka masala. Believe me guys it beats everything on the menu. Plus they give you a bowl full of it for just 7.99. In addition it comes with a free Naan. The lady there was really nice. She helEd me select the bet item on the menu. Highly recommend ....both price wise and quality wise.........Love it
veryyyy goood food, price is great....i am going there everyday from now on.... service is great...its all in one place to dine-out.
Great service, Food was fantastic and the portion sizes you get are well worth the amount. Almost everything on the menu is under 8 bucks. Truly one of the best Indian places I have eaten at. I had number 29, Chicken 65, It was awesome!!! The restaurant was nice inside and super clean as well. They have Asian food on the Menu as well. A Gem located in the heart of Richardson.
