This is by far the worst establishment i have ever eaten at and i have sampled a few applebee's so i know its not an issue of the chain just this one place.
This is the black sheep of Applebee's, Slow service and when i say slow lets see you wait an hour and a half for the food.
I would have left but it was a realitives birthday party.
(politeness is not worth it in this place)
I get seated Relatively quick which concerns me especially since its 6pm , they set up tables for a family get togeather for a birthday .The party gets started ,we order appetizer wait 45min for that to show up. I swear an hour and a half later the food arrives. Some sort of computer mix up , ok i will give them that but the food arrives luke warm at best , frozen at worst.
I had order a side of sauteed mushrooms which the waitress explains they can do.
I get a surprise, instead of warm buttery mushrooms i recieve room Temperature saute onions with a few mushrooms in it. ??????
The food arrived cold or"" luke warm"" for the burger.
i was asked by the waitress meat preference in the begining and i replyed for a little pink on the meat.
instead of a little pink i recieved burnt to the point it had started to dry up.
I am not asking for much throw mushrooms into a pot with some butter add a little salt whallah (even a 12 year old child could do this) . When i mention it the employee that ""looked like a manager"" who was attempting to fix the problems after the extremely slow service.
she says"" this is how we serve it with mushrooms."" (blatant lie)
She acted like it was my fault for not liking the room Temperature onions. but when the check comes its listed as onions on the receipt . go figure... ,
then after the horrible service they have the audacity to charge 15% gratuity which should have gone into firing half the staff including her and hiring people who take pride in their work
(or at least people who would have the common sense to reheat food thats cold).
The orders of other family members were cold or luke warm., it was like they lost half the order and then proceeded to leave the cooked portions sitting out while they cooked the rest of it.
( but couldnt even afford heat lamps, or putting items into a microwave to reheat.)
I felt almost dirty , eating here.
who knows what goes on back in the kitchen .
At this point you couldnt pay me to eat here .
This is the place to send people you hate (Im not joking) . The girl that served us was polite but was missing or non exsistent for most of the evening.
I felt robbed , not to mentions i could have gotten a better meal and reasonable service for half the price down the street at the jack in the box, and i would have been happy . This was an insult to cooking , even by fast food standards.
