NO LONGER SHOWBOAT..HAS BECOME A TRAVELODGE. Not much better from I have read though. It is typical of what has become of the reno motel scene all over Reno/Sparks.
We stayed here for two weeks at the end of the first week we discovered that the room had bed bugs I was bit up pretty bad not my husband we went down to the office and told them about it when we asked if we could move they said no we can check out they have new rooms they just have sitting there and won't let anyone in them so I said well how about you spray or something to get rid of it they came and spray the spray guy picked the bed up sprayed the corners of the bed and box spring didn't spray anything else no other furniture was in and out in less than 10 minutes two days later they came back i was bit this time and now my husband too we went back to the office and told them again they said they would tell the owner that was a Saturday and it is now Tuesday we check out romrorow and they still haven't sprayed and the owner refused to give a refund.. or any compensation.
Great customer service, management was wonderful, however, it's quite small and outdated and the price is a bit High; but not too bad, they do offer weekly and monthly payment options, as well as a few amenities which covers the bare minimum TV, bed and Storage with cable and Wifi (no Showtime/HBO)it does have a fridge and microwave but no kitchen, but plenty of room to add stuff like a table and chairs, coffee brew, Toaster ect.
I have only been here few days, got mixed thoughts. Management is good. Work is being done. It is very conveinent for the persons coming to Reno for jobs. You just have to take care of your self, clean. But, thats normal. Enough furniture to get by, and room for more. Its close to public trans. Would give 6 stars if prices little lower.
Johnny Rockets was disappointing. The waitress we had never refilled our drinks and our food was absolutely horrible. The best thing about this place is the strive from the managers to "make it right." When they noticed that we did not eat our food, they asked why and we told them. They did not charge us for our food at all. Its hard to rate this establishment so low when the managers are obviously more than willing to go above and beyond to make it right.
Great place to stay, food was good, and the staff way friendly. If you need to be near the airport, there really is no better choice.
I ordered a side of onion rings with an original hamburger. The ring were different from previous times I have eaten there. They were HORRIBLE. Tasted nothing like onions, more like greasy oily popcorn. Why do they change something that used to be good. Oh I know, cheaper for the same overpriced item. Don't order them.
We made a reservation for Bistro Napa for our anniversary. When we showed up we were escorted to a beautiful warm furnished room to our booth. Our waiter team were Kamel and Stephen. We ordered appetizers and entres. I ordered Alaskan Halibut and Mike ordered Cioppino. Both meals were amazing. The presentations were so inviting. The chef appeared after the meals to check in on us. We reported that we enjoyed and finished everything on our plates. Everyone at Atlantis and Bistro Napa were so accommodating and Professional. We look forward to returning and trying a variety of other items on the menu. Thanks Bistro Napa!!!
The best place to go in Reno with kids. So many fun activities and restaurants. Nice rooms and good prices.
