Terrible experience. If you think you're moving into a family-friendly company, think again. Recently, I had a family friend pass away and I was placed in the unfortunate situation of having to take on his two pets. My boyfriend and I immediately started looking for a new place since we knew their pet policy. We just thought that being a "family" company we could expect some understanding of our situation. Instead, they threatened to evict us even after putting in our thirty days and never even said sorry for our situation. We paid $100 to have the carpets cleaned since thats what they requested and they still took $200 out of our deposit to "replace the carpets" which they probably would've done regardless because the carpet had burn marks and stains on it. They pick and choose who can have pets, the place wreaks of marijuana and cigarettes even though they claim its a "no smoking" complex. There are crimes constantly in that neighborhood and are so immature they even evicted my brother for my google review that states nothing but facts. Do yourself a favor and avoid this "family" company, they're bad people.
Too many emotionally disturbed older women. The manager and the parks' maintenance man very good, but the disturbed women need to be thrown out.
My review is mostly based on the management. To me it's very important to have a good landlord. Karie was nice when I first met her. Even though I did not rent from them I hooked a friend up with her who needed a place. Then a few years later I was kind of in a desperate situation and gave them a call. Best part is that she is willing to work with you with what they can, deposits and stuff like that. She will go out of her way to help, but don't screw her over or you will see a side of her you don't want. But it is what it is. Your good to them you will get along just fine renting here.
Amazing park, with lots of trees and friendly staff! I enjoyed the river access and they park was very clean. I would recommend anyone to come check this place out. Office and bathhouses were very clean.
Please do not rent from these people I am in a wheelchair and the through my property in the trash after collecting my full months rent not only did the throwing my belongings they let every drug addict in that park go through my things and take what they wanted I have rented from them for four years and the owners wife Mary has admitted to using illicit drugs and says that I was a nuisance and I was evicted. I believe I was a nuisance because I kept complaining about my hot water and I did not have hot water for two months the shower was in operable as well as my home being unequipped premotor access all which they promised to rectify and never did so I had to contact the gas company came out and issued a hazardous citation because my conditions of living were hazardous therefore not long after I was evicted. Also my gas and power bill was skyrocketed through the roof when it should've been included in my rent they also advertise free Wi-Fi cable and phone the entire time I've lived there I did not have cable or did I have home phone service and Wi-Fi never works, if you try to challenge the wife's of the owner on her unethical illegal practices she will under handedly make false police reports against you and do unspeakable unspeakable things to have you removed
Green Acres Mobile Home Park was perfect place for us to camp in Reno to attend volleyball tournament. We walked to the Convention Center to save parking fees. We're a 40ft. motorhome and were parked on a vacant mobile home site, which I loved 'cause had grass, trees, lilacs. We can't afford a Resort. We need a safe, quiet, affordable place to park, rest, and visit with family and Green Acres completely filled that need. This is an older Park, but very well kept up. Friendly neighbors, very helpful manager. We'll definitely come back on next trip to Reno.
