General Info: Welcome to "Wise" Choice Counseling. My name is Lisa Davis and I am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, a domestic violence advocate, and a grief and loss facilitator. I provide education and supportive services for those needing to understand what is happening and how they can overcome and heal. My passion is working with individuals who have addictions, domestic violence, and grief and loss in their life. I believe if we bridge the gaps between addiction, DV, and grief and loss, then we have the opportunity to make healthier choices, resulting in positive outcomes. I have worked in the addiction field for the past two years, trauma and domestic violence for the past four years, and grief and loss for the past thirteen years. I am very passionate and love working with individuals who want to understand and be their best person. There is nothing more rewarding than working with someone who finds love and compassion for themselves, and within themselves! I have always believed in the greater good, the best in each person, and the ability for anyone to rise when given a chance.
