I recently took my Baby Lock sewing machine in for repair at Sew-n-Such for the first time. Having had a bad experience at another sewing shop, I was reluctant to entrust my machine to yet another repairperson. Shop owner Joanne was so sweet, understanding my worries and assuring me that her repair person, George, was a certified Baby Lock repairman. I've since picked up my machine and it runs like new!

As I hadn't been to the new Sew-n- Such store location (just a couple of stores west of the old location in Franktown Corners) , I took a moment to look around. Joanne has three cozy rooms with every sewing supply you could possibly need ( I bought a new walking foot) and gorgeous fabric to boot. I love the individual attention this local shop owner can give and the overall warm feeling of the store. I half expect to see a little table with a pot of tea and cookies tucked into a corner this Fall and Winter. It's just that cute!

I've put Sew-n-Such on my list of locally owned shops to support because of the variety of merchandise, the interesting displays, and the individual attention.
