I'd highly recommend Pat Hickey Painting. They are very professional and do an excellent job! We are very happy with the color, quality and professionalism of the job that they performed on our house!

PAT HICKEY PAINTING IS THE WORST AND RUDEST CONTRACTOR I HAVE EVER MET. My contract said, "Journeymen crew to professionally spray, brush & back-roll 2 coats to all siding, fascia, eves, body trim, doors, etc. & anything previously painted." BTW crew meant one person and I have a very large house. The first coat on the exterior of my house, I thought, was almost complete, but I noticed the plastic cover coming off the windows. I asked the painter won't you need that for the second coat. He said he did two coats at once. He explained he sprayed it and then back rolled it with a dry roller. He got annoyed when I didn't agree. I immediately called the owner, but no response. I then called the owner's son and he said two coats is spraying one coat and then back rolling with a wet roller. I told him I'm standing outside and there isn't a paint bucket or roller tray in sight. At this point he started talking to me like I was a little kid. The owner's son hung up on me then he called the painter and I heard the painter echo what I saw, sprayed and then rolled with a dry roller. I asked the painter to have the owner's son call me back. The painter refused to relay my comment to the owner's son, but I was standing close enough to the phone for the son to hear me. No call back from the son. I know understand why the painter kept encouraging me to leave while he was painting, then I would have had no idea what little work occurred. BOTTOM LINE: If you like one coat of paint when you paid for two coats, if you like to be talked to like you are a moron by the owner's son and painter and have to babysit the painter all day to see what is accomplished, this company is for you. This was a two person job and they tried to do it with one person. Obviously the owner only cares about profit vs. the quality of his workmanship.

These guys were fantastic. As ...

These guys were fantastic. As a new home owner in Reno we have been calling service people for the past 6 months to help us with everything from plumbing to electrical to painting.... Pat Hickey's painters showed on on time, did a great job, were fairly priced, cleaned up everything, and left without any drama or BS. We would hire them again in a second. Great final product, our house looks great.
