Took our grand babies to Davids bridal was pleasant this past week..We're in town from Florida visiting family and I had an enjoyable experience with the girls in the store. Everyone was in such a good mood and always was easy to find when having a question.
We ordered the girls their dress in the store and received free shipping to our house. (Since the wedding is in Florida) how generous. Thank you.
A Small blonde young lady named Nicole was very knowledgeable and friendly as our girls kept wanting to try on different dresses. She shared the same excitement as we had of our granddaughters special day coming up. She seemed genuinely happy for us. She took pictures of each dress as my husband and I sat there admiring how each dress looked on Sarah. She even told us to share pictures of the bride to be on her wedding day and she'd hang it up on a pin board they displayed.

The Staff were very helpful, and excited. I brought in pictures of what I had for an idea of a dress, and they helped me match a dress in the store to the pictures I had. My debit card didn't work at their register and they were more than willing to hold my order untill I could go to the bank and get back to the store! I HIGHLY recomend this store!

The service at this store is so unprofessional...Basically everything everyone is saying is sooooo true. But do not give them any money until you get something. 6 months after we cancelled an order they still have all our money. I know if we ran our company like this we would be in trouble but they don't seem to care...So beware do not give them any money until you get your order because if it is not right or you cancel you will not get a dime back!

So, first trip to David's I was told that they could not help me, I had to make an appointment and come back. This would have been fine if it were not 2 PM on a Tuesday and there was NO ONE else trying on dresses. There was three girls behind the counter, one seated in the front and another in the back by the shoes, but no one could help me?? I could understand if this were a weekend and they were slammed, or if I had to wait a bit for assistance. No, they were very pushy about the fact that I should have made an appointment (they were practically scolding me about it) and that I will have to come back. I was there with three other girls (my maids) and they could not understand either why they would not help us. It was very frutrating. I told them that my maids could assist me with getting the dress on and off. NOPE, ""you cannot do that"" is what we were told.
I saved my money and walked out. The lady in the front was trying to talk to me and I just walked right out. They were HORRIBLE. That weekend we went to Sacramento to a place called Bella Donna Bridal. Ordered my dress there. It was $1750 witch is more than any dress at Davids, but was worth the extra money and the drive to get great service and know I was being taken care of. Davids is a joke. I would avoid them at all cost. HORRIBLE>

I truely hope brides all over read this. Davids bridal has ruined my wedding dress. I bought my dress there $650 dollars. When I had to get the dress altered and bustles the lady Lena was nice, although at 26 it never helps to hear that the over 50 year old woman would wear the same dress. I wanted her to do a simple bustle and take the dress in. I was very trusting since they should know what they are doing $280s later I have to get it fixed two and a half weeks before my wedding. This is what David's Bridal did:
They gave me a bustle that made the dress look horrible. It has two layers of tulle and satin. The seamstress bustled them separately and took all flow away from the dress. They also took the dress in at the sides but did not take all the extra fabric out and from my experience it was just laziness, even I know when you take any item in the fabric should be removed be all the way down. Well they had to fix the sides to remove the extra fabric that flared right at the top of my hips, very unflattering. Then we had to stumble through trying to explain to the seamstress that we wanted one single bustle and we wanted it to look simple and smooth. She assured us it would be very wonderful. At my second fitting I had to go alone since my friends were all working. I couldn't see what the lady was doing but I was in shock when I saw what they had done to the back. My dress looked like the top of a billowing curtain. It sat right under my bottom so it created a huge unflattering shape. They tried to hide a second layer with some snaps and it pulled so much satin fabric unevenly that there would be no way my dress would hang right. I was so in shock that I just took my dress home to figure out what to do with my maid of honor. Upon further inspection of my dress we saw at least 8 snags in the fabric, stitching down the V of my train, and the dress looked stained from yellow highlighter the seamstress used to color 7 of the 17 bustle loops (not very simple at all)
It was a very horrible experience so I showed a dress to a manager named Lisa there to see about a refund. They were so unbelievably rude and dismissive. My problems didn't matter to Lisa at all. I told them I didn't want them to fix it I had found a great place to fix their mistakes Moda Italia. Well the seamstress decided to see what was wrong with the bustle. Thirty minutes later and having to track down Lisa we found out the seamstress decided to remove all of the satin ties for the bustling. It was such an awful experience I wish someone had told me all about their unprofessional ism before I had taken my dress there to be altered. I will never recommend David's Bridal and will tell everyone I know about how rude they were. Im only getting married once and thought they could be trusted and that they were knowledgeable. PLEASE DONT EVER TAKE ANYTHING TO THEM $280 BEFORE ANY WORK WAS DONE. HIGHLY UNETHICAL TO CHARGE FOR WORK NOT DONE YET.

Our recent experience with David's Bridal in Reno has been horrible. We were told our bridesmaid dresses would be delivered in six weeks, (order April 11) and when we went in to check on their delivery (May 28th) we were told they would take 12 weeks. Arriving 4 days before our wedding. They could give us no explaination as to why we were informed wrong, or no solutions other than for them to email the company, and they didn't think that would do any good. Why on earth would they think we were so dumb as to order dresses that would arrive 4 days before the wedding when they all need alterations? We have worked with this store since March 2007, yes we did buy a wedding dress with no problems, but each time we have come in for ordering the bridesmaid dresses, to ordering the gown, to fittings, we have had a different sales person. And none of them seem to know what they are doing. We have gotten multiple answer to the same questions, and the customer service is horrible. DO NOT USE THIS STORE OR RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE !!!
