I have been trying to set up an appointment with the postmaster general (at this location) since February 12th, 2016. Today is February 27, 2016! I have left daily messages (some days more than one) with his secretary....not with her directly, but with her voice mail. I have almost begged her to call me back. I was given the phone number when I called the Vassar Post Office. I explained the appointment was necessary because of fraud. I am at my wit's end!! I'm only trying to follow through with what the Reno and Sparks police department advised me to do!
worst service ever was hung up on and ignored treated like crap will be calling and complaining very rude
The fact that this post office is still open is incredible - they are literally the biggest joke. The man at the office actually tried to argue with me regarding what my address was and INSISTED it was a different street entirely, and then hung up on me. Literally all of my Christmas packages are coming through this post office and so far I've gotten three notices that things have been delivered in my mailbox with no packages arriving ever.My apartment complex even said that they don't receive packages from this post office because they are so horrible. I live practically across the street from them in South Reno and they still can't get it right. Like I said, when I called to ask where my packages were they argued with me and eventually hung up. If you can have your items delivered to a different address PLEASE DO!!!
The lady that usually does our mail is awesome...but this douche guy that is working today 89523 July 6th 2015 just drove passed our house and didnt even stop or take our mail..we have him on camera! he needs to be fired! He has done this several times!
It's like gambling if we are going to get our mail or not. The Alexander Apartments is where we live and it used to be the county but now it's the city. I was told by the manager at the steamboat station post office on Mc Cabe that ever sense that change from county to city they have had problems with the carrier's that come from the main post office to help out on this route not doing their job and delivering the mail in some cases just sending mail back to sender saying wrong address even if the address was correct. She said to me they probably won't do anything about it because the carriers are union and protected. There has to be a way to solve this on going problem for many of us that live at The Alexander apartments. We finally had to pay for a PO Box.
Since I moved into my new neighborhood two and one half years ago, my neighbors have had to have mail exchanges. I get the mail of every person who has ever lived in my house prior to me, my neighbors mail, the mail of an apartment complex's tenants down the street, and other random people who don't even live on the same street but have the same first name as my husband. I have filed a complaint and then had my identity stolen. I needed to talk to the manager today in regards to a few filed police reports, but he didn't bother to call me back so I could return to the post office and speak with him! I now go to another post office to send out my mail for fear of ignorant error and/or retaliation for having filed the first complaint.
Mail delivery to our office is "optional" for this post office. We seldom receive mail on Mondays.
Changed, Changed, Changed !Visit now and you will give a very different rating. Friendly, Helpful, and Courteous is the new normal. I must agree that it was not always so.
Extremely disappointed with Dave who works here. Very rude. I waited for him to finish what he was doing to ask him a quick question and he would not acknowledge me. Unfortunately this is not the first time.
