I have come here a few times with my sisters.Pros: the atmosphere is cool, trendy, and definitely attracts the millenial crowd.Cons: the food is just gross, wait staff can lag on the attention, and the prices are a bit high for what you get.I would not come back, as I feel there are other Japanese options for us to check out in the near future.
Flowing Tides has some of the best Fish & Chips, Fish (chicken or steak) Tacos, Seafood (Pan Roast), Burgers, and Sandwiches (Reuben, Beef Dip..) in town - the food is always fresh and is excellent in quality, the service is friendly, and the prices are very reasonable & if you have dietary restrictions, or just preferences they are always happy to accommodate special requests (sometimes for an extra, but reasonable, charge... It's usually very crowded and a bit loud - once in a while you have to wait to find a seat and may have to wait a few minutes to order ... because they're busy. There are always lots of games to watch on the TV's - as well as being able to watch the cooks make your food so time passes quickly. Flowing Tides is a comfortable place with very good 'pub' food.
I've been going here for three yewrs now!!! And I HIGHLY recommend Sushi Rose!! The best in Reno HANDS DOWN 🍣😊
The atmosphere is wonderful beautiful restaurant very clean, formally Napa Sonoma, the sushi is amazing come give it a try you womt be disappointed!
Seriously Delicious!Perfect flavors and a lot of variety. Very competitive pricing and 100% free on your birthday. I love the friendly atmosphere and location. A hidden gem in Reno for sure!
I went here under great recommendation from a few years ago but it appears to have changed. Poor service, but sushi chef was attentive and very nice. The rolls were huge and covered with sauce, mostly rice and very loosely packed. It felt like they intentionally added rice to fill us up. The lighting was really distracting, felt like we were being watched. We left waay before we were full, and felt like we wasted our money. I hate leaving this type of review, but i would have wanted to have been warned.
This is literally the best place to eat in Reno. Great price for fantastic service and savory sushi. They make everything so balanced with good portion sized for all you can eat. It's easy to park, the lighting and mood is awesome, My favorite part is the attentive and talented sushi chefs! I have been here time and again, and have Never been disappointed. Highly Recommended!
The most incredible sushi at great prices. Fun relaxed atmosphere. Loved all the rolls I tried. Great saki selection.
I found a bug in my sushi. When I told the waitress she said it probably flew in from outside!! I told her I couldn't eat that, and I was disgusted. She brought me my bill. No apology, no discount, nothing. I told her I shouldn't have to pay an all you can eat price for sushi with a bug in it and a ruined appetite. (I had probably had two rolls at that point.) She told me if I didn't pay she would call the police. In hindsight, I should have walked out and let her! This place is disgusting. A follow up call to the health department revealed multiple problems in the past for this restaurant. They FAIL inspections because of poor cleaning procedures. Do NOT eat here. It's too gross. How are they still in business???
Amazing service, amazing food. We are so glad we found this place. It has become our regular sushi place. We are willing to drive the 80 miles each way just to go there. They remember us and give great, personal service each time. And we have yet to find a roll we don't like
