We tried to get in here and couldn't! We went to the front desk she reactivated the card to get in. Went back and still couldn't get in!

Caveat Emptor - Let the Buyer Beware. Read your contract closely and make sure your payment info is current. I had to cancel a lost credit card and did not realize it was the one I used to automatically pay my gym membership. No one notified me payment was due until I received a letter telling me I was overdue. When I logged-in online, I had a late fee tacked-on that was twice my monthly fee. No one has responded to my online correspondences. READ YOUR CONTRACT before signing. There will probably be an annual fee (mine is around $30), and my contract has a termination fee of between $50-$100. The good news is that with all the fees my membership should only average about $20 a month for a good-sized gym with a pool and a few classes (I paid a $50 init fee and I pay $9.95 a month). For that price I can ignore their slimy accounting.
Basketball is one of my favorite things in life. This place has some of the best courts you will find in Reno, always clean an almost always. Court open. The staff is always the best, this place makes you feel like you were glad you came. When you have a great place to workout it is always encouraging to return more frequently. Just wanna say thanks for providing all of us with a quality place to workout!! Frank
This gym is a fabulous place to workout. The staff is professional, friendly and very knowledgable. If you ever have a question about the equipment they are fast and responsive to help you out. I still have a membership at second gym and have not been back since I joined South Rac. My first experience was bootcamp and it was the best four weeks I have ever experienced working out. In two weeks I was already seeing results and the trainers were motivating and could cater to every ability. The gym is spacious and you can always get on the equipment and never have to Wait for a rotation to finish. They have a wonderful selection of classes available and plenty of times to work into any schedule. I personally love the total body classes and the spin classes. When you take the classes the trainers always have variables of each move to cater to each ability, and that is extremely important to be able to work toward a goal. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone! I have been a member of many gyms and am confident that this is by far the best gym in Reno for the price, space, atmosphere, staff and trainers!
The staff are highly skilled and well trained and the atmosphere is very contemporary and relaxing. it is nice to be able to swim in the Sports West pool and use the hot tub either before and after a massage as a bonus.
So much better than the big commercial spas. It's private, new and the atmosphere very comfortable. I got the Spa West signature massage and pedicure and both were top notch. My husband did the Sports Soak and the Gentlemens facial and he (not a usual spa goer) just loved it. I highly recommend Spa West. It's a must try experience.
moving to reno soon...and have been checking out various gyms for "group exercise" classes...24-hour Fitness quoted a start-up cost of $182.00...this included "fees" along with "first and last" month membership dues...i found the price tag a little much (for what you get).....also...an article on the internet talks about a current "class action lawsuit" against 24-hour Fitness for continuing to charge monthly dues after a member has canceled.....i found reno has a wide variety of fitness centers and "group excercise" classes...that are far more flexible and affordable.........
