For the amount of giveaways they do, you'd think they'd be able to understand and accommodate someone with several disabilities who's health is unpredictable. I bought one class, and was told I would be given a free class as well (so long as I bought one) I was unable to make it that night, because I am a quadraplegic, with narcolepsy, and a few other things. I had just purchased it the night before, and told them that day before noon, I believe. Anyway, I was told no, we won't honor the give away, nor will we transfer the one you paid to another day. (I never asked for a refund, just the chance to use it another day)Finally, after talking to my mom, they agreed to transfer it to another class. When I finally got to use it, we signed up and found out, no. We won't honor the give away. Only the one you bought. So, mom stood in the back of the class, not being able to participate. That was sooooooooo much fun! Not. You guys do give aways at *least* once a week. Sometimes more. That night, the class wasn't even half full. And, everyone except two people *I* invited, were there because of giveaways. But, $36 is so important to you, you couldn't be bothered to get an extra set up for my mom. I'd maybe understand if the class were just that full, or if you only rarely did giveaways. . . . But, give me a break. We won't be returning. There's several other wine and paint classes around town.$36 was more important to you than a repeat customer who will *always* be buying at *least* two classes because she can't drive. And so, I *always* buy whoever takes me a ticket to whatever I'm doing. But hey, you made your choice. Pity. Because it's definitely something I'll be doing more of.Just not at Pinot's Palette.
I went in looking for an eissel for Oil Painting and after all the help and advice from the woman at the counter (of course I already forgot her name) I ended up leaving withhalf the store! Awesome art shop with better prices than most places I looked online
I have been to this store many times, they always have what I need for classes, and my own projects. the owners are super friendly and ,so informative, and kind. Debbie and Doug knows there stuff about supply's, and prices are fair for the quality. I leave feeling confident on my projects, because I have the correct supply's, and the knowledge that Debbie knows about art made me feel encouraged to get creating. I would not listen to the negative review, find out for yourself and see how the store works for your creative needs. ( maybe it was the shoppers own bad day that tainted his own experience) from my visits to this store I have never left with the feeling of being unwanted, inferring with her business or injured feelings, I mean come on really from this art store. This person is too much , who need consolation for injured feelings? Maybe her therapist suggested art as a form of treatment and her recovery hadn't started yet. I don't know but try this store you will love it . Namaste
I hadn't been to Nevada Fine Arts in quite some time. I went in to buy supplies for school and was amazed at the great prices and everyone was so helpful. I even found that they beat out the local chain stores in pricing. I had many technical questions... they gave me good advice. This is a fun store in town.
