This is without a doubt the WORST company in terms of tech support and customer service. There is absolutely no way to reach a person and discuss your problem. It's like being in the "Twilight Zone" because no matter how you go through their prompt you cannot submit an issue or reach anyone by any means. Most disgraceful operation I have EVER dealt with and I'm a senior citizen! I will dispute my Pogo membership to get a refund. I've been on Pogo for over 15 years and this is how they treat a long time paying customer. OUTRAGEOUS!!!! Don't buy any EA products...
They have absolutely the worst customer service possible. Please tell me that a company the size of EA has an idea of what they would like to see in customer service besides the outsourced debacle that is currently being offered. If this is the vision of corporate, then pack the bags and give the space back to WOW. I, for one, will never buy another EA product nor encourage or endorse others to do so until EA makes a public commitment to resolving the deplorable customer service model they are facilitating.
I'm glad I found this review because this happened to me today. I saw the charge on my card and was about to call my bank to report it as fraud. Thanks for your help. Now I know what steps I can take to get my money back. I can see why they are doing over $3 Billion...cuz they are ripping people off and making it nearly impossible to get money back.
had a problem with origin co-ea closed my account and refuned me for a tw12 game however i had bought a separate game from amazon.com for my laptop computer to play off line. ea sports also canceled that game and the actiation code for it.
now i cant even play this game and they refuse to refund me for this telling me that it is amazons problem. im out 2 games and only refuned for one they stole my money and wont give it back to other than saying that it was my problem--beware origin is not a good reliable comp and watch out for ea sports thier covering themselves with all these shadow companies they have been adding try and find a phone # for them now on line

For my 2010 birthday present, Wifey said to use her card to purchase a Club Pogo membership; and having been legal counsel for Mastercard, International, I was certain to NOT authorize recurring charges. I only played Gin Rummy 4 times; and had since forgotten about it; figuring that when I got their dunning letters telling me that I should renew, so that I didn't miss out on all the fun.
On December 13th, 2011, Wifey came to me asking what the $39.99 charge on her card is. I didn't correlate Electronic Arts to Club Pogo; and she got VERY upset, suspecting identity theft / fraud.
We turned off her card and got a ""instant card"", from the bank so as to not leave her without plastic.
Getting some 300+ E-Mails a day, I don't read my E-Mail every day; but on December 15th, I saw a December 12th E-Mail saying that EA had renewed my Club Pogo account. - MYSTERY SOLVED.l
SO, I called EA at 650/628-1500; and in a recorded telephone conversation, spoke to a ""Dimitri""; and literally, an hour later, he wouldn't give me a refund, nor would he allow me to speak with a supervisor.
SO, I called my financial institution (after calling the US Department of Secret Service - as they have jurisdiction in cases of credit card fraud); and since EA wouldn't do the right thing, I initiated a chargeback against Electronic Arts. My representative issued me a credit, on the spot.
I gave EA a chance to do the right thing; and since they wouldn't, I did what I had to do, in order to get my refund.

I had a time trying to figure this out, but when I read the reviews and EA was mentioned then I realized that it was for a club pogo membership. I will keep an eye on my bank account but I chose to be billed once a year for the membership! I hope everyone else was able to resolve their issue.

Check your credit card statement for Electronic Art charges, they might be fake or a mistake, in any case do not hope that EA might refund you, even when they will acknowledge that they collected your money, as shown in their records!
This is what you can expect from them: ""We would advise you to dispute this as a fraudulent charge through your bank"".
