I've driven by this place for years thinking that they mainly did camper shells, tow hitches, racks, etc. I'm more than happy to admit that I SEVERELY underestimated what these guys could do for a truck. I brought my 2016 F150 XLT in to see if these guys could help me decide on which wheels and tires would give me the look I was going for. For anyone that has ever bought larger wheels/tires, you know how easy it is to get bogged down by the numerous options available. These guys really broke it down for me so that I knew how my choices would affect the look of the truck. I brought my truck in yesterday morning for new wheels, tires, and a levelling kit. I came back later the same day to pick up the finished job. I have to admit that it was a 50/50 mixture of excitement/nervousness; eager to see the truck but still worried I might not have made the right choices.
Thank you...thank you...thank you Custom Truck. I now have the truck I have always wanted. Seeing the finished F150 with a totally different stance put the biggest smile on my face. These guys nailed it!!!
Toyo Open Country RT/18" XD Machete/2.5" levelling kit.
Going back for AMP Research Power Step XL at some point because I KNOW that these guys will do it right...again.
Customer service is pretty good overall. Granted, I should not have to call to find out that my $3,800 shell arrived. Install seemed to go fairly well, although they seem to be kind of rough with things. The new shell has at least one scuff mark, and they managed to not give too much concern for the paint below the tail light where they do a lot of the work to tie the shell into the truck. Now there are a bunch of small scratches through the paint in that area. So, thanks for that.
TLDR, nice enough guys, but i wouldn't go out of my way to give them business.
Once again, the time it takes to read reviews of a local business is worth it's weight in gold. This truck accessory company has a wide audience on the Peninsula and they have a very large inventory to browse through. I had a truck bed cover that I wanted installed on my new F 150 and they were most helpful to schedule me for an install. Had a guy do the install who has been at it for over 15 years and all though my kit had more parts than these guy's have seen in a while, he made quick work of it and it looks great. And so, you probably want to know about service eh? Pulled up, was invited to have a coffee, could check out the huge showroom (and spend even more money), and just wait and watch the professional install of my tonneau cover.
These guys have helped me several times!!
I use these folks for some solid after market *accessories!!
