Had a great experience with Doug Behr, who was recommended by ABA Hearth & Home in San Carlos for the installation of a gas line for my fireplace renovation.
Doug came by for a thorough walk-through and came up with a creative solution for solving a problem with load on my gas line (adding the fireplace was potentially going to be too much for the existing 3/4 inch line). Fortunately, we didn't need to go down this path after the precise calculations were made, but it was comforting to see his attention to detail.
His on-site time was just over 4 hours and not several more as it could have been, as he wisely prepped much of the work beforehand. Instead of measuring and cutting everything on site, he used a system of elbows which could be adjusted and moved to the ensure the pipe is the right length -- ingenious!
And, he was fast, professional, accurate and cleaned up after himself in my living room where the new valve was installed beside the fireplace.
I highly recommend him for his work -- he is a pleasure to work with as well!

Doug of Behr Plumbing Service has done a superb job...I did a search on the internet shortly after my husband and I moved into our new condo rental after finding out that there were various problems with our shower and other items.
The first incident involved a shower valve that was wearing out and it had to be replaced. After numerous calls to the property management company and condo association with our unit, I finally gave up and contacted Doug. The water had been going hot and cold and Doug was able to pin point the issue and was able to replace it right away. Doug was very responsive in which he was able to assess the problem, research his options/resources, and get the job done on time for a very reasonable price. He completely worked with my busy schedule in making it happen.
The second incident involved our neighbor's toilet from above us...Although, we didn't have to bring Doug onsite -Doug picked up his phone and I was able to consult with him over the phone. The most important thing was he was responsive to my urgent questions and he was ready to attend to the situation if he had to.
Finally, although the valve issue for the shower had been resolved...there was still an issue of our water eventually running cold. Doug came over a final time and he was able to assess the situation...He was able help me talk through the issue with the manufacturer and was able to resolve the issue within a few days! It ended up that we needed to replace the gas temperature thermostat and it was taken care of right away.
