The new era of nutrition is at Whole Foods!

I've heard enough of illnesses almost impossible to eradicate. When are we all to realize that wholesome, unadulterated, chemically free foodstuffs in its original state is the answer to protect our bodies from eroding and inflamation, which project our body cancer cells, among other illenesses, to begin proliferating and sending us to our short or long term suffering and early death?

The answer is so simple. Whole, pure, and small is the answer to all our ills and troubles. DNA food checking is in the near future, in the meantime, thanks Whole Foods for being in the forefront, to give us what we really need before this happens, and for caring about our green food environment. I'm positively impressed with your products and your service.

Mold all over the place

I love Whole Foods as a company and many other stores are great but this one has some serious fresh-ness issues - that verge on food safety problems. I have been going to this store for about 2 years. Not only do I see lots of moldy bread, cheese, fruit and vegetables every time I go but yesterday was the SECOND time I have had to return gone-bad seafood. The first time it was king crabs legs ($$) that were so bad I threw away other groceries in the bag (they were not wrapped well so they were leaky). The second time were bay scallops that smelled awful. They basically didn't even apologize - even though they could have made us very SICK - and just gave us new ones and charged us for the difference in weight. I have also brought home moldy bread / tortillas, moldy fruit many times by accident and goat cheese that was wrapped on a plastic dish which was covered in mold on the bottom (I am fine with moldy cheese but not the second I bring it home!). Beware of what you buy here and ask to smell everything, examine the bread, fruit and cheese and check expiration dates. I have officially learned my lesson.

This is not acceptable for a 'high-end' food selling establishment. They should be a lot more concerned about cross contamination from all the moldy stuff sitting in their cases and on their shelves.

After last night I have decided to shop elsewhere to protect my family and I am sick of having to drive back while I am cooking dinner to return the seafood I just bought 2 hours ago!

Good stuff, somewhat inconvenient

I enjoy shopping here much more than at your typical Vons or Albertsons. The atmosphere is nicer, and it has a pretty respectable deli. However ... the place could learn a thing or two from those generic grocery outlets and stay open later.
