Horrible service! They blatantly lie to you and do nothing whatsoever to compensate you for your wasted time.Today I went into this Verizon Store to purchase a pack of screen protectors for my Samsung Galaxy Nexus. I then asked the employee if they had any extended batteries for this model. They had no idea of what they had in stock and I had to wait several minutes for them to return with the battery. Upon seeing the $50 dollar price tag for a simple battery I declined the purchase. The employee instantly lowered the prices SIGNIFICANTLY after hearing that I was not interested.Considering how overpriced Verizon products and services are in general I was still not convinced. So I asked a simple question that any properly trained employee should be able to answer, or at the very least look up the information.Their employee told me that this upgrade would be changing my stock batteries mA from 1300 to 2100 which is an improvement of about 60%. This seemed like a decent deal and I accepted but not before they attempted to push a sales pitch to get a new phone.Then when I drove all the way home I immediately opened the new battery to make sure everything was in order. To my surprise the stock battery I already had in my phone was not 1300 mA, not even close. It was 1850 mA, meaning that the upgrade from their stock 1850 mA battery to their extended battery with 2100 mA is BARELY over 10% more power. Yet they are trying to charge $50 dollars for it.Also the extended battery fit perfectly in the stock Android protective case which their employee told me that it would not and was preparing to try to sell me that too if they had it in stock.I took the battery back to the store obviously frustrated that they would lie to me and try to misinform their customers. If the employee had ANY DOUBT whatsoever that they did not know the correct mA for the stock battery I expect them to look it up to double check...But once I get back to the store they refuse to compensate me in any way whatsoever even though they wasted well over an hour of my time. I requested some kind of store credit, even a couple dollars or a free phone case. But they CLEARLY do not value their customers time.I expect a higher quality service from such an overpriced "premium" phone company. So in conclusion: 1) This store's employees WILL try to rip you off. They will tell you the wrong specs for your phones in an attempt to make you buy stuff you don't actually need. They are paid by commission and will do whatever they can to rip you off. Probably 90% of their customers are not tech savvy enough to actually realize details like this and call them on it... so be cautious.2) Their in-store price tags are not the real price. Similar to a dirty car dealership, the sticker price is probably at least 50% higher than what it should be. I mean lowering my phone case cost from $15 dollars to $3 dollars in an attempt to sweeten their battery deal?! Very devious business behavior.3) Their employees are rude, and either poorly trained or unqualified. The employee that told me the wrong information for the battery did not even attempt to apologize, they just denied it and acted like they had no idea what I was talking about. 4) They do not value their customers, we are just a walking $ sign to them. Whatever happened to a company making right with their customer when THEY mess up? 5) Verizon is super overpriced, and doesn't even provide very good service anymore considering the other stores are MUCH cheaper and provide much better package plans like unlimited data for example. There is NO WAY I am going to continue my contract with them after seeing the way they treat their customers.I advice everyone to steer clear of this store, and if you do have to go there make sure you check every detail and make them lower their artificial high prices. They WILL try to scam you.
