I waited several minutes to be served by the guy behind the counter. The kid actually was able to get to all 4 customers without losing any of us even though his demeanor was like a chicken with its head cut off.
I explained that I only wanted a small cheap battery because I just needed something for right now since I had forgot my battery at home and just needed something in the moment. He ignored what I said and kept trying to upsell me larger & more expensive batteries & other stuff I didn't want or need.
I paid cash for the cheap battery and headed out. The battery did not work (verified later with same tank & other battery). I walked back in to exchange for a working one only to be confronted with more waiting followed by even more upselling instead of a quick product exchange.
During this extra upsell he informed me that the batteries are not charged (defeating the entire reason for me buying one in the first place, as I had already explained to him I only needed one in the moment). Since the product was broken & a replacement wouldn't work for me anyway, I asked to simply return the product for my money back.
At this point he started inappropriately laughing & smiling while telling me he cannot return anything & he can only give me credit towards a more expensive battery (attempt at forced upsell). I said that was not acceptable & I wanted my money back.
At this point he tried to have me wait while he helped the other customers in the store, by just saying "hold on" and walking away from me. As I was in a hurry, had already waited, then waited again after buying a broken product, this was not acceptable me at all. I told him I was not going to wait around anymore & that he needed to just give me the replacement battery since he was unwilling and incapable of giving me back my whopping $5.00 cash.
Terrible attitude, lied about product specs, aggressive sales tactics, & overall awful customer experience.
Go anywhere else if you have the option.
Today at 9:10AM I walked into K Smoke in Overlake Fashion Plaza, 14808 NE 24th St, Redmond, WA. The store opens at 9AM, and as I walked in a man from the back of the store yelled for me to wait. Not all of the lights were on, figuring he just got in I yelled back "No problem!" He comes out a min later and starts screaming and swearing at me to get out because he's not ready. He said "I told you to get out of here, the f***ing lights and registers aren't even on yet!" I am so shocked by the reactions, I say "sorry the door was open I just want a pack a smokes." He continues to scream at me to leave. I said okay well you've lost my business from now, and leave. He then comes out of store and yells from the parking lot " you f***ing b**** suck my d*** and grabs his d***.
I am so baffled by the whole thing, this man has rung me up several times before. I will never shop here again!
I patronized K Smoke for several months (note the past tense). I bought hookah shisha, e liquid, some ecig batteries and mods, some tanks and RBAs, etc. All told I spent maybe $700 over an 8 month period. Suffice it to say all the guys knew me and we had a good relationship. HOWEVER, I recently bought a Kayfun Light clone RBA from them, and it was missing the fill-port screw... just a simple m2.5 5 countersunk, you know, exactly what you can't buy at any hardware store anywhere around here. Thinking it would be no problem, as I've been their customer for so long, and a good one at that, I began using the device with a m2.5 screw that doesn't quite fit right (and causes the tank to not fit most of my mods). When I went in to have them give me the screw, the OWNER informed me that he couldn't "just give me one from one of the other [15+ boxes] they had, 'cause then he couldn't sell it". ???!? They just sold ME one without it. He told me he could contact the manufacturer to get a replacement (which would take weeks). Could not reason with him. Apparently he'd rather have extra stock ready-to-sell than make right the faulty unit he sold me. He was unable to risk waiting for the replacement screw himself.
Bottom line: Good prices. Terrible customer loyalty, and a vibe that screams "I am a for-profit drug dealer."
Since I'd already bought the device he saw no reason to make right the unit himself. I will never go back as I feel mistreated and TBH a little exploited.
Good place for your Vaping needs. Nice selection, plenty of juices at a good price.
Now, I had purchased a new variable voltage battery from them earlier in the week. A few days of using it, it appeared to short out. All of a sudden smoke started coming out of the button hole. It wasn't dropped, or modified in any way. I was only vaping as I always do at around 3.8 volts. They replaced it with out issues. I was pleased.
Very nice and helpful people. I will be doing more business and would definitely recommend them to others.
