        Went in to but a back pack leaf blower. Stood around played with the blowers on the wall for about 5-7 mins. No other customer in the shop but lots of employees. Nobody acknowledged I was there... They don't want my $400-$500...I will spend it elsewhere... I walked out..

        I had a new Husky with less th...

        I had a new Husky with less than 10 hours on it. Stroup's adjusted the carburettor for $20. It ran about 1.5 hours and stopped working. I took it back to Stroup's, they said it would cost another $20 to look at it. Several weeks later, I heard nothing. They could not find my saw in the computer. When I found my receipt, they found the saw. They proposed a repair that included replacing the carburettor, oil pump, chain, bar, etc. The repair estimate quote was several hundred dollars, more than the cost of the saw new. When I declined to have them perform the repair, they told me that they needed $40 more for the troubleshooting. I sent my wife to get my saw back. She said she would pay the $40 if they gave me the estimate in writing. Jason Stroup came out and was rude to my wife, but due to her demanding everything in writing, gave my saw back without charging for the estimate. We never got an estimate. Stroup's saw mechanic admitted to my wife that he did not know what the problem was. I took my saw to Al's Saw Shop, the Stihl dealer. They charged me $40 to adjust the carburettor and told me it was way out of adjustment. My saw has run like a champ ever since. I later heard that a friend of mine took his saw to Stroup's. He lost his receipt and never got his saw back. Take your Husky to the Stihl dealer, Al's Saw Shop.
