My 85 yr. old mother called "Nerds" last month to fix her "slow" 8 year old computer. The upgrade cost over $700. This was for a machine that wasn't worth $100. Unfortunately I live out of state and when I found out, I called "Nerds" and was told all they could do was to increase her "Tech. support" for 3 mos. My mom doesn't use tech support and a new computer with a faster processor would have been $3-400. Nice way to treat the elderly.
Who are these nerdy caped crusaders? You come here fearing the end of the world thinking there is no hope to save, what you believe, is your empire, and these guys laugh in the face of fear. They solve anything you can imagine usually in less than 24 hours. I have nothing but praise for them defeating the 29+ viruses who were invading my pink laptop world. They listen to your problems and then I can imagine them deep in battle, laughing in the face of these villians as they solve our problems and destroy the viruses that have invaded our land. Yes, that is what I like to believe. I'd pay to watch them do battle,, but some things are better left unseen. Trust these guys. You will not be disappointed.
Friendly Computing did a great job fixing my computer. My computer was a little bit older and had some viruses on it. They were able to remove all of the viruses and add some hardware so that my computer runs much faster now. Very affordable too. I would definately use these guys again.
Since I moved from Sacramento I can't help my parents with their computer repairs anymore. They usually just need help installing new programs, connecting new printers or a digital camera, but occasionally they have some real issues like viruses or hardware problems. I was really lucky to find Matt at Nerds On Call. One of the best things is that they have flat rates, not hourly rates which means there is no guess work and my parents always clearly know what the cost will be. He's been over to help them several times in the past six months and both my parents and I are happy that I'm not trying to help them over the phone any more. Would definitely recommend.
