Blessing from heaven! When I totaled my car, the driver of the tower truck that towed my car said "go to Auto Maxx in Redding and look for Dennis. He helped me a lot and really gave me a good deal and worked with me. I would have not been able to get a car." Desperate in my situation as I had absolutely no money for down payment and my still ongoing divorce so screwed my credit, I took that as a guidance from heaven. When I found them online, they have fewer selections of course than a big car dealership but I love that they're online website is updated with all the cars they have on stock and all the details of the vehicle and I have to say they have really good prices on their cars. So I went knowing which cars I'm hoping for. Hoping... coz I've been turned down 2 other dealerships before and had 7 inquiries for Auto Financing on my credit already which I was told was even a bigger red flag indicator that I can't get financed. Their slogan outside says something to the effect of "Walk in. Drive out." And I tell you, they meant what that slogan said. I came late after work at 5:30 on a Saturday. They're supposed to close at 6pm but they worked out on a deal and stayed however long it took until I drove out with the car. I have to say though, I already filled out the finance application online which is very easy. Maybe 3 minutes worth. And brought the requirements like pay stub, ID, insurance, etc. They are so helpful and very personal. The owners themselves man the place with another awesome agent. One warning though, they provide a one-customer-only type of service. In the time they were helping me, two people came by to want to look and ask about a car outside and truth be told, they gave the littlest effort and attention to an extent that they almost looked like they don't want to sell. But on both occasions, the agent tells me "I'm amazed at how people see you're with somebody and they would just interrupt and expect you to cater to them. I'm serving you right now." I'm like "U appreciate that but that's 2 possible business you just lost". He said "Well, it's your business that matters right now." So, if they're talking to someone and got ignored, that there is a sign of quality service. And if they tell you cars are marked up at tax times, it's because they're down right honest. I wouldn't rate them as sales people. They're more like helping people. So be patient, look online and maybe apply online already or call for an appointment. You're in for a car-buying experience that an honest-to-goodness treat!
My family has purchased 3 cars from West Coast Auto Sales. There new facility across from Safeway downtown is SUPER NICE. I check sacramento dealers on autotrader and West Coast Auto still hade the best deal for the car I was looking for. Got a great deal for my trade and an unbelievable deal on a 2009 BMW. None of that shady hidden crap. The first thing they did is pull out the 1 owner, Clean CarFax. They also showed me the Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds value. I was offered to be able to take the bmw to any certified mechanic in town to have my own inspection done. I took them up on the offer and had it inspected at my mechanic. My mechanic found no issues with the car and even said the dealerships Safety Inspection Sheet was "spot on" with his findings. Thank you guys for making me feel comfortable and selling me exactly what I wanted.-Heather
When my mother asked me to help her buy a car, I took her to several dealerships. We were treated by far the best at West Coast Auto Sales. Our Sales rep Donnie was attentive and kept in close touch from beginning to end. He treated both my mother and myself with dignity and respect and patiently answered all of our questions. We wouldn’t hesitate to do business with West Coast Auto Sales again and would be happy to refer our friends as well.
Owned by the Kia Dealership next door. We were looking for a used truck, and the salesperson was pretty good at gauging what we wanted, and did not pressure us excessively. We told him up-front that we were just looking, and NOT buying that day. He showed us some trucks that would work okay, and let us leave gracefully. He's kept in touch with me over the internet, and has been good about answering my questions.
Formerly Budget Auto, Park Marina Motors is now bigger and better! The lot now has the inventory that they used to have in two locations and then some. But with everything in one place it gives the salesmen a real opportunity to spend quality time with you helping you to find the right car for you! Everyone is so nice and full of smiles! Love the atmosphere! Never felt pressured to buy!
When I bought my $5k car, which I was able to bring down to $4k, I expected not much maintenance being needed... To my demise, I later found out that they were hiding a fair sized rock chip under the price sticker on the windshield. The valve cover gasket was leaking, and no record of new timing belt. After taking it to the mechanic, the car literally cost me $5k.
I thought I was in a new car dealership because the building and inventory was so Nice. I was searching autotrader for a Honda civic or a Toyota corolla and West Coast Auto in Redding had a couple of both. Not only that, they came up as the best price in my search on autotrader.com and cars.com
Just want to say Mike is awesome! I have purchased many cars from this dealer but Mike was a whole new experience for us. He went above and beyond what I asked for! I might add at his own expense. He did what he said he would do and quickly.I couldn't have asked for a better salesmen
These guys were great! The sales staff was very nice. I felt no pressure to buy and was impressed with the level of respect in which we were treated. I would recommend these guys to anyone! I will keep buying my cars from Budget Auto Center!
Very helpful! Great selections of vehicles. They had what I wanted and Ricky was super helpful in getting it to a price we could agree on. The whole staff was informative and made sure it was what I wanted! Thanks guys!
