Excellent service for an oven repair. Chad (Technician) came when he was scheduled, quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered the part. Charmaine (I hope I spelled her name correctly) called when the part came in and scheduled a time at my convenience for Chad to return to complete the repair. They even called when he was on his way so that I could put my dogs in the garage before he got here. The work was done efficiently and cleanly and for the price I was quoted...done in time to bake muffins for my 90 year old dad.
It is a Saturday, so of course the dryer quits, so I see this review, how this company showed up on a Saturday, and fixed the dryer. NOT TRUE. I have waited 6 hours, and did not even get a return call. So review is phoney. I own a service based company, and if I say I am open Saturdays, which I am, I would rescue you. Sorry people, but again, review not valid.
Horrible company; horrible customer service! Would never recommend using their services. Had their representative come out to repair my trash compactor. After he completed the repair, I asked how long they guaranteed their work. Was told 90 days. The compactor broke again, same problem, 25 days later. Unfortunately, it was the day before Thanksgiving and I had company and was very busy. Since the representative had told me about the 90 day guarantee, I waited until after the holiday to call back. 34 days after the initial repair, I was told I was mistaken, the 90 day guarantee only covered parts. I couldn't believe they wouldn't honor their labor, considering it broke down during the holidays. The lady at H & H was very rude and unsympathetic. Called another company and had to pay them to come the second time to really fix the compactor. I was told the screws were not tightened down and that was causing the problem. What a joke. This company obviously doesn't take pride in their work if they are going to nit-pick over a few days, especially during the holiday season.
Chad started out the service call by insulting me about my air conditioning when he was there to service my oven on a warranty job. Tech had 10 dollar red voltmeter from Harbor Freight and even stated that he was not an electrician. Was in my house for literally 5 minutes. End result poor diagnosis. Next time I'll call someone with a flukemeter. So mad I called whirlpool and had send out a second guy for a second opinion. Don't call Beacon and if you do make sure you don't get Chad.
