Dr. Cook has been providing excellent veterinary care for pets for over 25 years. In 2008, she decided to pursue other treatment methods for arthritis returning to school to study Chinese Medicine, initially to help her 9 year old Golden Retriever who was experiencing arthritis pain. Acupuncture and Holistic treatments proved to provide exemplary results in treating not only arthritis but also kidney, liver, and heart disease, allergies, seizures, musculoskeletal disease, cancer and more. Holistic care has very few, if any, side effects and the pets (and their owners) love it! No sedation is needed. In 2021, Dr. Cook welcomed Dr. Lahner to the team. She also embraces holistic treatments and recommends that to the clients she sees as well as providing medical and surgical care for pets.The Bluffs Pet Clinic has continued to provide regular medicine and surgery for pets with an additional tool in our tool box when pet owners are interested.
