Never Again!!!!!!!!! Do not hire! My wedding planning team and I had to deal with one of the most unprofessional bartenders I have encountered in 5 years in the business. This woman was hired to serve just the liquor and non-alcoholic drinks to guests because the couple getting married hired a separate entity to bring a beer truck. She was out of hand from the minute she arrived! She interrupted our team while we lining up our wedding party 10 minutes before the wedding ceremony was to begin (yes she was away of the timeline but clearly oblivious she was interrupting something extremely important). This was not done discreetly or with any tact at all! She threatened to leave because her bar area (which was part of the building the dinner was being served in) was not close enough to the beer truck which broke her rules of being responsible for the alcohol being served and was "going to cost her tips". After being directed away from the ceremony location she proceeded yelling and cursing loudly at some of my other team members and someone on her cell phone. Due to the massive amount of drama, I began feeling like the location of her bar may truly may be a problem if she was that geared up about the situation, I offered her completely reliable and easy solutions like moving the bar outside next to the beer truck. She was unsatisfied with my thoughts, seemed to have no interest in helping find a solution, and was much more enthralled with the drama she was trying to create. One of my wedding planners got on the phone with her boss, who may I add was no more tactful or professional than she in finding a solution, to ask if it was breaking any rules if we moved the bar next to the beer truck. Her boss told us no there were no rules against it so we sprung to action setting up a new bar area within only about 10 minutes to do so at that point. It was incredibly tacky, she did not lift a finger to help move anything for the bar, and guests had to watch us literally assemble a new bar for this unreasonable bartender during cocktail hour. The bar should have been set up and ready to go before the guests started to arrive but all of her drama sent the whole timeline of getting things arranged into a tail spin. To make matters worse...later that night she disappeared letting one of the groomsmen bartend while she played around in the photobooth (which I might add was in the building where the bar was supposed to originally be set up and not in view of her "new" bar area at all). I'm sorry but I thought she was sooooo concerned about her being in complete control of all the alcohol throughout the entire nigh?! Everything else went beautifully at this wedding so without this person causing unprofessional drama it would have been a smooth day. I am a business owner and this behavior would never fly with my team!!! I will never recommend MACK to any of the couples the book with us!
First of all like all other scab dealers in Lancaster these people have it down to a science, they hire people that won't pass any test so the companies being serviced won't hire them and hire people who can't work with them for a long period. All so they can keep the permanent temp thing going, they only encourage companies to hire people that are to big of a pain to put up with, good people get weeded out quick. The agency is the source of all the trouble anyone may have. I worked for them for four months, they encouraged my coworkers to harass me, proof is that when I asked for help, they fired me, with no repercussions to anyone, I'll starve on the street before working for them again, I don't ask for much, just my dignity, not Hate crimes.
