Not only was the paint on my french tip pedicure crooked but they herded me around for the price 3 times. I brought my 5 year old son for a special treat for valentine's day with mommy. This could have been a better experience
Awful is putting it nicely! This is the worst nail salon or business I have ever been to.They have terrible customer service and do an awful job on your nails!!!! On top of that they are way overpriced. I've never been anywhere so expensive. They purposely make your nails thin, so they break and charge you to fix them even if it's the very next day! They are so rude to everyone, even their loyal customers. So many people told me not to go there but I gave them a try... Dear god I wish I didn't. Ben, the manager is the worst of them all. Such a grimey, greedy, lying low life of a man. For me to spend my time writing this tells you how horrible they really are. I always try to see the best in people and I have absolutely nothing good to say about this salon. You will leave with terrible looking nails and have spent an unnecessary fortune just to turn around and need them to be fixed within that week you were already there! Please don't waste your time or your money on such an awful place of business. They are the lowest you can possibly go. Any other nail salon is better than they are!!! I'm disgusted with the way I was treated and you couldn't pay me to go back there! I'm so disgusted truly. Also they charge you $50 to remove calluses on your feet! Something that should be included in a $25 pedicure. They are just downright pathetic and want to see their business close down for good!
IT WAS MY FIRST PEDI AND MANI AND THIS PLACE BECOME MY FAVORITE PLACE TO COME. THEY PAY ATTENTION TO CLIENTS , OFFER DRINKS DURING SERVICE, AND VERY PLEASANT.
I just moved to Rapid about a month ago and had not had a pedicure here in town. I picked this place based on the reviews here. Turns out this was a huge mistake. The lady did not even attempt to make conversation with me, she made funny faces while filing my calluses and just didn't give good service. Now I know I am not going to find world class spa pedicures like I could in Reno, but seriously this wasn't even acceptable. There were times during the pedicure that I almost told her to just stop because I was so unhappy with my service. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
They do not have a clear pricing chart. I got acrylic nails, and on the chart it said $34. My total came to $55 and when I asked why they said it was because I got two colors (I got a French tip). Although their sign has the "and up," they fail to list that the $34 acrylic nails are nails that are one solid color. They also fail to clearly advertise the fact they do not accept debit/credit. The only place where this is advertised is on a small sign on the wall by where you pay. I also slipped and fell due to a puddle of water mixed with wearing the foam flip-flops from my manicure. One of the customers was very concerned on whether or not I was okay and helped me up, but the employee was not as concerned. She asked if I was okay and that was it. They failed to clean up the water on the floor after I said that was what I slipped on. Although I did laugh after I fell, I still think they should have wiped up the water to prevent future slips. Although they do good work, I believe they fail to clearly show their charges. They cover it with the "and up," but fail to show what the minimal charge entails, and what causes charges to be higher. If I knew my total was going to come out to $105 I would not have come here. By looking at the price chart I was expecting under $70. It also would have been helpful to know that cards was not accepted. I had to have a friend spot me because I did not have other forms of payment and was not noticed until it came time to pay.
I just moved to Rapid CIty two weeks ago and have been reading a lot of reviews on line trying to find a new nail salon. I finally settled on Classic Nails mainly because they are close to where I live and I am so glad I did. Ben did a back fill for me and my nails look fantastic! I am so excited that I got this lucky on my first try. I was kind of surprised at the cost and it seems high for what I am use to paying, but it is worth it!
This is officially my new pedi haven. I was in the market for a new nail salon. Recently came here and was so impressed with everything. I'm glad I don't have to try any more salons - this is the one!!
I purchased a $50 gift certificate from Rapid City Journal "Today's Deal" for Impressive Nails. I gave it to my daughters as a gift and they went to have their manicures. When they arrived they showed the man their gift certificate and told him they had $50 and he told them to "pick a nail" and showed them the designs to choose from. While there, the employees spoke a foreign language the entire time and never spoke to my daughters or asked them any questions. After their nails were done a woman gave them a total of $116.60 as the balance due. My daughter called me at home and said that they were being charged an extra $66.60. I went to the business and asked why they were being charged so much, the woman said they put a powder on the nails and it cost $58.30 each. I told her they only wanted a manicure and asked how much it was, she said it was $21 each but they put powdwer on them so I owed $66.60 more. I told her it was ridiculous that they charged them extra for something that they didn't ask for after they were told they had $50 and showed them the gift certificate. Extra charges were not discussed or agreed upon. The employee was told they had $50 and was shown the gift certificate. Nothing extra was discussed unless it was in a foreign language and my daughters weren't aware of what was said.
