J.W. Eater Junior High School serves students in grades six through eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, English, math, reading, science, social studies, and health and physical education. In addition, the school offers the English for Speakers of Other Languages program. J.W. Eater Junior High School also conducts classes in American Sign Language, as well as a range of world languages, such as Chinese, French, German, Italian, Latin, Russian and Spanish. The school offers dance, music, theatre and visual arts classes. Located in Rantoul, Ill., J.W. Eater Junior High School is a part of Rantoul City Schools District 137, which serves students in prekindergarten through grade 12 in its elementary, middle and high schools.
