Overall

We had been a client of Dr Inkley for well over 10 years and had to have our dog put down two years ago. We recently adopted a new dog and now they will only accept puppies and kittens. I guess we should not have adopted an older dog and am sad that this is the case at a veterinary clinic.

Never had a problem at all with Dr Inkley, My dog was having seizures and not one and I mean not one vet in Jamestown would look at her she had 15 seizures in less that 24 hours. Dr Inkley call us at 9 pm we took her in, fact he carried her in she was to weak to walk Love him for his compassion I will never trust my dogs to any other vet.

Last night we called about our cat who was paralyzed with no control of his bowls. We're life long customers. We called at 9 on a Monday. The response we got from the emergency number was "I can't save them all... go to Erie, you go further for Christmas shopping." We couldn't take our cat because he does not do well in cars and it's over an hour away; it would have put him in more shock. We got no advice, even through the phone, and very rude bedside manner. Now our cat is in the Falconer Clinic with a broken pelvis and hypothermia. Hoping he pulls through. Taking our business somewhere where our pets are viewed as loved family members and not just another number $$$.

Initially I was happy back in 2003 but things have changed drastically since. I have been very disappointed both cost wise as well as in that lack of empathy and compassion they have shown.

Shame on Randolph Vet Clinic

Absolutely ridiculous! We recently moved to WNY from AZ and have gotten 3 of our 9 animals established. Our Molly cat started acting sick yesterday and this clinic refused to fit her in their schedule until next week because she wasn't "established". Really? She could be dead by then! All they could do was refer me to an emergency clinic near Buffalo. I have NEVER HEARD of such a practice! You've lost us as customers, RVC. Just terrible. Y'all need to get your priorities straight. Office policy vs. an animal's welfare.....hmm...sounds like a no-brainer to me! Shame shame shame on you!

Overall
Uncaring and unsympathetic

Uncaring, unsympathetic and overcharges. The ladies at the front desk are not nice, the vet (older brother) is impatient and gets annoyed with you easily. The other vet (younger brother) was the only nice one there. I thought these people were nice at first, until it came time to put my dog to sleep. I was having a hard time making the choice that the older brother was pushing on me and he kept leaving the room out of frustration to help other people. I felt like I was just a number, not to mention my 12 year old son was there too. We were both crying and the vet was annoyed that we took too long. As soon as I said yes he injected my dog before I could even blink an eye. As my son and I were hugging and crying he said to the vet tech "you deal with this" and left! Not a sympathetic word nod nothing! Then because I suppose we took up too much of his time, he over charged us $90.00! We paid $170.00 and were suppose to be charged $80.00. I didn't even cremate my dog there. The tech took us out of the back of the building through an unkept storage area and handed me my dogs body, said "sorry for your loss" and that was that. When I returned to find out why we were overcharged they said it was because it was an emergency service. I made an appointment and waited almost two hours to be seen. How is that emergency services? I asked to speak to the vet but coincidentally he was in surgery. I waited and he proceeded to take every patient in the room and ignore me. I also called several times and left messages and they refuse to call me back. They even refused to respond to the BBB which they now have an official bad rating with because of it! These people should not be in business. Very disappointing.

Overall
Affordable and caring pet care.

The first review is great, but lets talk about how affordable Dr. Inkley is. Not only can you feel that your pet is in good hands, but Dr.Inkley does not charge you an arm and a leg to see you pet.

Now that we are his patients our office visit is only $15. I called around when I became a dog owner and all the others cost at the LEAST $40 just for the office visit. That is just crazy....Dr.Inkley is what we all need in today's economy, something that we can afford....

So why wouldn't you pick Dr.Inkley to be your pets family Dr. He cares, and he won't rob you blind. :)
