I wish I could rate 0 stars! Worst customer service ever! My sister lives in the area so all of us bridesmaids went to her nearest Alfred Angelo. I live two hours away. First, they told me my dress would be in February. They called me in March to let me know it was ready and that I had 14 days to pick it up or else it would be shipped. I did not want to take the chance of my dress being messed up or lost in the mail, so I asked if I could have an extension since I live two hours away and am only in town once a month. The girl on the phone said that was fine. Then, I get a call the next day saying that I needed to pick up my dress. I told her that I already had an appointment for 3 weeks out. She said that was fine. I asked her to double check that my appointment was indeed set since this was an odd call. I think she just said yes again to please me because it was way too fast for her to have looked on the appointment schedule on the computer. THEN, I get a FedEx notice saying that I missed my delivery 3 times and I had to go in person to pick it up (the nearest FedEx location is an hour away from my house). I call FedEx to see who was sending me a package that required a signature and of course, it's Alfred Angelo. I then call Alfred Angelo to ask why they shipped my dress when I had an appointment to pick it up. After talking to two different girls there, they finally realized they didn't ship my dress, it was letter telling me that I had to pick up my dress. So, thanks for the mini heart attack Alfred Angelo. Next, and most importantly, I get there on a Sunday to pick up my dress and Jennifer makes me sign that I picked it up; nothing more. I ask, shouldn't I try it on in case it needs altering (I'm short and all of my long dresses need altering)? Jennifer says, "you can, but the seamstress isn't here today," with a look like what's the point? Me: "ok, when will she be here? Can I make an appointment?" Jennifer tells me that the seamstress is only here on Thursdays. I tell her that "I live two hours away, isn't there anything they can do?" Jennifer looks at me like too bad and says "no, she's only here on Thursdays." So I leave without trying my dress on because according to Jennifer-what's the point? I get home and the next day find that it doesn't zip past my waist; it needs about 5 inches to zip. I ended up having to take it to a local alterations store and paid almost the same amount as what I originally bought the dress for. Dress cost $187 and alterations were $121.So thanks a lot Alfred Angelo for the most awful customer service I have ever encountered. You would think that especially at a bridal store they would want to make it a pleasant experience for the bride and her party. Oh, and I wasn't the only one in the bridal party who was measured wrong....the seamstress was out when another bridesmaid picked up her dress and they told that bridesmaid to use tape to fix her dress. Tape! Think about how stressed the bride has been through all this. She thought she was going to have one bridesmaid in a moo-moo and one that was half covered. This store is so unorganized and rude. The manager, Jennifer is unaccommodating and doesn't care at all. I will make sure none of my family and friends use this company ever again. I will spread the word and review this store on every site imaginable.Alfred Angelo is the worst!
I went in today after going to "David's Bridal", and "One Stop Wedding", not finding what I was looking for. As soon as I walked in to Alfred Angelo, I was greeted, they had me sign in, I let the host know what I was looking for. She then set me up with a stylist, Victoria. After listening to my request, she brought the perfect gown that best fit my budget, my style, and my personality for my special day! Thank you Victoria.
I had my bridal appointment today,it was amazing. My consultant was God sent. Being a plus size bride I was terrified of trying dresses on. She was so patient, caring, and put all my needs first. She accommodate all my family that came with me. There was 12 of us. My whole family love your. She such a great asset for that company. She went above and beyond to make my appointment unforgettable. Thanks again Patricia Davis. I recommend this store be your first and only bridal experience.
