Merry Maids

They are THIEVES of TIME, MONEY and they are DISHONEST. I ordered service for an empty house. Shelly gave an estimate of 3 to 4 hours. Shelly verbal conversation with me was it would take about 3 hours to complete and that is how I budgeted for the clean. Well, they were late and they came late in the evening well after 3pm. Time was quickly passing and they went over the 3 hours and the empty house was not even half done. One girl was doing all the hard work and the other girl worked slow and deliberate. When they gave up on the job one of the girls calls the center and the center wanted to charge me more than the quote. It was out of my budget. I tried to meet the overage but it just wasn't in my budget. When Shelly spoke with me over the phone while I gave her my card information, I asked what will she charge my card and she said 3 hours which was $330. When I tried to use my card in the market it declined. I found out that Shelly charged my card $495. She literally stole $165 from me. I trusted her to only debit the 3 hours. She told me that she would return my money and to this day she did not. When I tried to talk to her about it I ended up cursing at her. As I started finishing the job myself this is what I here is an example of what I came across. I wished I had of taken the other pictures before I cleaned. I would not recommend this company.

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT!! THE GIRLS DID GREAT AND THEY REALLY TAKE THE TIME TO DO EVERYTHING LIKE A DETAIL CLEAN SUPPOSED TO BE.

I wanted a service to clean our rental house between tenants. I met with Merry Maids at the house, walked through the house with them and showed them what I wanted cleaned. I did not want a service I would have to baby sit and watch them do their job. They assured me they paid attention to details and would be able to clean what I asked to be cleaned. When I went back to inspect the house, which was only a 3 bed 2 1/2 bath, the work was not completed to my satisfaction. They did do a good job cleaning the bathrooms and wiping off the kitchen cabnets. However they failed to clean the debris out of the kitchen drawers, failed to wipe the dust off the top of the door frames, failed to wipe the corners of the walls where there was visible dirt from where the cat rubbed. That came off with a rag and warm water, did not even need soap. They also vaccumed the carpet and I told then it was not necessary, that it was going to be replaced the following day. They also did not clean the inside of the windows. When I called and complained they said that windows would be extra. They said that there was 2 maids there for 4 hours. To me it looks liked they only worked 2 of the 4 hours. I complained on Friday afternoon, they said they would come back Monday and address the issues, too late the tenant moved in on Saturday. I had to finish the job. They are over priced for the work they did. Next time we hired the lady who cleans our house and her friend. They did a better job for less money. I would recommend that you do not use this company. If you do you will need to baby sit them. I would suggest that you look for a local housekeeper and offer them the job. They are usually happy for the extrawork and seem to do a better job for a little less money.
