On December 3rd at approximately 7:30 p.m. I took my brother to Hobby Lobby to exchange a gift he received as I waited in the car. He took quite some time and when he came back he was very upset saying that the manager Laura accused him of stealing that item and they have him on video. He thought it was a joke so he said it wasn't me show me the video. She said I don't have to. She grabbed the $169 item from his hands and told him to leave the store. He said I didn't steal anything from you. Why would I come back and try to exchange something that was stolen? She said I don't care get out of my store before I call the cops. He said don't bother because I'm calling the cops. You're stealing my airbrush gun. So we call the police. They showed up llike that helped). The police officer heard our side of the story, we asked her to please ask the manager to show us the video and kindly return our item. The officer went in the store, spoke to the manager and when the police officer came back, she said you're not allowed to be in the store or in the parking lot. You have to leave. We explain to the officer that it was a mistake and insisted to see the video. The officer walked away and said "just leave" got in her car and drove away. So apparently Hobby Lobby steals items from customers! Believe me, there will be a lawsuit and definitely a complaint with the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department.
