We won't be back. Scheduled an 8:45 appointment and did not get seen for 25 minutes. Demanded that I wait for another 25 minutes with my 15 year old in an empty office while the doctor got around to finishing the visit. This isn't a cancer diagnosis...I think a 15 year old can handle it. No respect for our time. No apology for the delay. Not a place to go if you have job/family.
Not impressed with Kelly Eye Center for cataract surgery. They treat their patients like a commodity, no personal touch at all. They rush you thru don't answer questions, don't submit ALL the charges to your insurance company just the ones they know will be covered. In fact it's not their job to make that decision and I suspect from comparing my the charges to the insurance charges that they in fact submitted some of the charges but charged me cash on top. Particularly suspicious is the $500 charge that was submitted to my insurance and paid but I paid $500 cash for the laser. The paper trail doesn't match. And let's not even get started on the under-the-table $300 paid (per eye) to my optometrist for recommending Kelly to me. Avoid this crew!
Worst customer service I have had at Sears optical. I've been going to them for a few years and never had someone who didn't know how to take insurance. They wanted me to pay out of pocket for annual eye exam and for contacts and glasses. Worst service I've had. I sent people to her and now they aren't going to see Sears optical. They need to hire someone who knows how to talk insurance and know how to talk to people
Visited this center once and wont again. The doctor and front desk were nice, However the woman in charge of payment methods was absolutely horrid and rude. We had an insurance company that had not yet provided us with a card but a temporary paper to use until our card was mailed to us. When the front desk did not recognize this paper they sent out the woman in charge of payments, who refused to even look at the paper and says, and I quote, "No, I dont look at papers." and looked at us like we had some kind of plague. She wouldnt even let us try to explain what our papers were. We of course paid in cash (which is not an issue for us thankfully) for that one appointment, and decided to take out business elsewhere to people who WOULD look at our papers, did take the time to call and ask about them, and give us treatments. If kelly eye center does hear about this I do hope they are kicking themselves, because the insurance form you chose to not even read covers every single thing. And I do mean everything. :) We have taken thousands and thousands of dollars worth of business to a neighboring clinic. Hopefully they are more considerate to future possible patients.
