I am not sure where to begin or how to thank you and everyone at A Bridal World for making my wedding day so special. From the moment I walked through your doors, I knew I was in good hands. My fitter’s talents and unbelievable attention to detail made a beautiful dress a stunning one! She made it fit perfectly. When I put the dress on the morning I was to wed, I had the sense it was made especially for me. Looking back on all the planning, I realize I was more calm and comfortable than I ever would have been, knowing all of the details of my wedding dress were entrusted to you and your excellent staff. I left each fitting confident that my dress would turn out perfectly and make all of my dreams come true. From the time I was a little girl, I dreamed and imagined my wedding day over and over. I feel truly blessed in being able to say that it was the most incredible day of my life. Thank you so much for being a part of making me feel like a princess! With sincere gratitude and thanks,Vivian
If you are a bride who has recently purchased a wedding dress or bridesmaid dress at La Belle Mariee Bridal I would consider contacting your credit card company or other options. I stood outside the shop yesterday 7/24/15 with several other brides. I had a final fitting and was promised my flower girl dresses would be in. Another girl had her bridal portraits today and was picking up her dress that she could see through the window. The doors were locked...after waiting 2 hours, police called and Wral came we still don't have answers. Employees didn't get paid and the owners number has been changed.
Victorian Rose Bridal has been referred to me numerous times in my search for a wedding dress. I have looked in almost every bridal shop in the Triangle, and none of them hold a candle to this one. The women who approached me were as welcoming as anywhere else and very helpful in helping me find what I was looking for in a dress. I did notice that the selection of dresses was amazing. I am not a fashion consultant by any means, but it was clear that the selection of dresses were unique and very high-quality. The fabrics and details in the dresses at this shop made the other shops selections look trashy (for lack of a better word.) If nothing more... walk up and look at the dresses displayed in the windows. They are absolutely breath-taking, and surprisingly affordable. This place would get four stars on selection alone. But customer service and selection, well let’s just say it’s rare!
I could not have asked for a better dress shopping experience than the one that I had at A Bridal World. I planned to get my dress from David’s Bridal, but figured I would go to a few smaller salons just to see what was out there. A Bridal World was the first salon I went to and they blew me away. Everything was so civilized and elegant. I was the only bride in the salon and I walked around pointing at every dress that I wanted to try one while my bridal attendant put them in my dressing room. I ended up trying on 12 dresses and picked the first one I tried on. Additionally, the seamstresses are EXCEPTIONAL. My dress fit like a glove before we even made alterations (due to a lot of experience), but the seamstress turned my dress from beautiful into PERFECTION. I didn't love the sweetheart neckline so they actually changed it for me. I also added a monogram (as my something blue) in the underside of the dress. Overall, an amazing experience and I will definitely recommend.
I am extremely disappointed in my overall experience at A Bridal World. I called a few days ago to schedule an appointment to look for bridesmaid dresses. On arrival today(11/14/13), it was difficult locating the shop as there was not a proper sign – there is a paper sign in the window. I told the woman at the desk that I had an appointment and she acted shocked. She threw a clipboard at me to fill out my information when she attended to another bride. Once she got back, I told her what I was looking for in a bridesmaid dress. At this moment, the rude woman told me that there would be a fee to try dresses on. I have never heard on such a thing and was completely repulsed by the idea of having to pay to try a dress on. Needless to say I walked out of the shop right away and will never return. Obviously places like this need to charge a fee because they know they are not going to make money anywhere else. I’m sorry that I wasted my time and will be calling tomorrow to ask why when I called to schedule an appointment that I wasn’t told there was a fee. I would not recommend this place.
this experience has been very pleasurable! the staff was always professional and worked so hard to make my daughter's experience fun and exciting! The dress was beautiful and was finished early. I recommend them to every one.
My experience here was great! The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me find THE perfect dress for my special day. I highly recommend you shop here before buying anywhere else.
My experience at this David's Bridal location was horrible. Stay away. Not only are the dresses poor quality, the service horrific. I made an appointment on a Thursday afternoon at 3pm. I planned to come later in the month with BMs and my mother but I wanted to try on a few dresses I had looked at online before the whole group was there. I walked in promptly at 2:50. Someone checked me in and gave me a back of flyers. I sat down to wait. 45 minutes later!!!!! the manager comes over to tell me the consultant is running behind. When the consultant finally comes over to me she is clearly new, frazzled and has no clue what she is doing. She is unable to access my online favorite, or locate any of the dresses (which I gave her exact style numbers for). Finally I just tell her the look I am going for and say "go grab something like the 10 I showed you from the David's Bridal website". She proceeds to bring me one dress that is nothing like I asked for. I try it on simply to keep myself occupied while she goes back to search again. The dressing rooms are dark and cramped. She brings me the wrong size. I hate the dress. I tell her this and she goes to get the same dress in a different size. No only can she not navigate the store or do her job, but she was unable to listen to my taste and opinion of the dresses she was pulling. I tried on 3 more dresses she brought and that was it. She brought no more dresses and I was out of patience. I left the store and never went back with my family. David's Bridal needs to seriously improve their customer service. The quality of the lace dresses is horrible and the prices (for what you were getting quality-wise) were very high. $1200 for a poorly sewn lace dress. I will be warning all my future bride friends to stay away.
I know that a lot of people have given them bad reviews and I feel bad for your experiences. I had a really awesome time at David's Bridal. This was my first time looking for a bridal gown and after I made my appt. and chose favorite dresses from the website I went to the store with my mom and maid of honor. We had to wait about 5 min but that was fine we walked around the store looking at other dresses. We had a strict budget and our sales associate was very understanding and made sure all the dresses were under that price point. She was very helpful and kind and very receptive to my comments about the dresses. I found my perfect gown on the second dress and bought it the same day! I am very happy about the service and how they treated me, especially because I am not a skinny girl (I'm like a size 20). I was able to buy a dress of the rack and it only needs minor alterations. I would definitely go back there. She even gave us a tour of the store so that we would know where to look for certain items. And once I had found my dress, she let me wear it as long as I wanted, she also had my mom and maid of honor try on dresses so they weren't left out. It was a wonderful experience and so easy that I was glad I went.
I went to this David's Bridal in August to try on bridal gowns. I live in ENC, so going to Raleigh was like "going to town" for me, since there isn't much in the way of good shopping where I live. The store was extremely busy, and I waited about an hour and a half before I could even see a consultant (not their fault -- just know it is very busy, and you will feel rushed). I tried on three dresses before selecting one. The consultant was very friendly -- she was the best part about the experience. After purchasing the dress, veil, slip, etc, I came out about $1200 poorer, but happy. I guess I got caught up in things, because I had assumed they could hold the small items (slip & bustier) for me until my dress came in, then send it to me all at once. This must have gotten lost in transmission, because they later called and wanted me to pay a $15 shipping fee for each item as it came in. The customer service was okay, as no one was ever overtly rude or unfriendly to me, but I must say I was underwhelmed by the service I got after spending $1200 with them. The boxes the items came in (shipped from the store to me) were taped up haphazardly and looked more like something you'd expect from someone on eBay. When my gown finally came in 4 months later, it got shipped to my old address, and it took me about 15 days to figure out what had happened to it. The shipping clerk at DB was very nice, but I just felt kind of let down that such an expensive item was floating around out there, and when I got the box, it wasn't even taped shut properly and looked kind of smashed. Luckily, the gown survived. If it hadn't, I feel like I would've been angry at this point. My advice: go to the store to try on the gowns, then order off their website. They are constantly bombarding my inbox with free shipping promotions from their website. It would be to your advantage to cut out the "middleman" and order directly from the website once you try on and select a gown, then get your alterations done somewhere trustworthy that is convenient for you. Hopefully the shipping would be more professional, and there would be less room for error. You wouldn't face shipping fees for each individual item, either.
