If they had a 1/2 of star I would give it. The new manager is rude, incompetent and will hold your stuff hostage if you are late with payment then you have to prove to her that you paid it!! I worked at this location for over 7 yrs. I loved my customers and always went out of my way to treat them like they were special. The owner pick some trailer trash to run the place after the old manager had a stroke then he evicted her because he said she "abandoned" her position! Everyone loved her and she rocked at customer service and renting Budge trucks. DON'T RENT HERE!! They are a bunch of low life's who will take your money and their customer service is the worst I have ever seen in my life.
i am the son of the lady that worked at this place my sister but the pic. up YES it is mold one of the owner is not a nice person he will go throw the dumper if you put papers it in HE IS VERY RUDED. I had a tractor that was almost stolen and burnt it was to do work for the owner at this place and he DO NOT want the law call. My mother has worked for this company for 13 years. Everyone has always had extremely nice things to say about her & their experience dealing with her. As of June 3rd, she was taken from there by rescue as she was having a stroke. On June 9th, she was diagnosed while in ICU with a stage 4 GBM Brain Tumor. Under dr's orders, she can not stay alone nor go back to work until at least treatment was completed. On June 28th, one of owners, Joel, called her & told her to have her stuff removed from apartment in 5 days & on July 1st, she received letter stating she was terminated. We have been moving & going thru her stuff for 4 weeks (sat & Sunday's). He broke into her apartment last week, throw her stuff in dumpster. Police was called. Today, we got there & he had thrown all her remaining belongings into a large pile. We have found MOLD & MILDEW all in the apartment. He has gotten someone to come in this past week & patch & paint over the leaking ceiling & mold on walls.
I was extremely offended when I went to the office to ask if there was a place to recycle as I was moving out and a very rude lady told me I was not moving out because I had not talked to anybody about moving out. I told her I had called to informe someone (which I did and had phone records to prove it) a few days in advance and she said "no you didn't " which besides being confrontational and inappropriate was also false as I truly called and indeed spoke to someone and gave that person my unit number. There used to be an elderly lady at the office who was hard of hearing but otherwise was pleasant and I never had any problems with her but this new lady was extremely rude. I had not been this upset in years to be told to my face that I did not do something that I most definitely did as if I were a 4 year old. Very disappointed!
I just went in to buy boxes. They were reasonably priced compared to others. The employees, Ray and Tanika, were very helpful in helping me find the sizes I needed. Good customer service is far and few these days but these two did a great job! ;-)
Place has had break ins and management uses passive aggressive ransom tactics. Don't do it. I rented here for 7 months and had 2 units. One day I go there and there is a red lock on one of the units. My payments were up to date, so I call the property manager and she tells me to look at the other unit I rent. There were some small dents on the door that anyone backing their vehicle or maybe someone dropping something on the door could have caused. She then tries to get me to confess to damaging the door. I told her if she has video or proof that I caused the damage I will reimburse accordingly. She refuses to show me any video and then says she will call the police to file charges and to get off the property.I was not about to leave the property with all my belongings still in my unit. So I call police and they come out to the property and call to inform the property manager that she can't file charges and damage to the door was a civil matter. So the police give me a few options to pursue. They were holding my belongings ransom in exchange for a dent on an outside door anyone could have damaged. What great customer service! After sending repeated texts to her and emails saying that I will wait at the property with the lease in hand till they get there and open my unit so I can get the hell out of that place. I finally get somewhere.She finally emails back informing me that the lock will be removed for one day and that I only have one day to get my stuff out or they will throw it out.In the email she notes that there has been break ins there in the past and they will throw out people's belongings. See quotes below from property manager."We will stand FIRMLY behind our lease. We have turned video recordings over to law enforcement on prior occasions (most recently Jan. 11, 2015). Criminal charges were filed in that case and those individuals have been charged. We will review the tapes regarding this issue and contact that specific lead detective regarding this matter as well""We have the legal option to open your unit and toss your belongings. We suggest you remove your belongings willingly on Monday and do not return to the property."This is incorrect by North Carolina laws. They need to inform you in writing and give you time to get your stuff out before tossing them.Anyways I got my stuff out and hope I can save someone from ever renting at that place.
